After installing Synergy on my system the esc key has become a windows key, and the windows key seems to be disabled.

I run windows xp mce, and this is really very annoying, can anyone help me with this?

Your control key is stuck (software-wise most likely, not physically stuck, though that's possible as well) in an "on" position. Hit the control key once or twice, then try ESC alone.

    That fixed it!
    thank you sir.

I was worried that Synergy had edited my registry in some way and I was going to have to hunt down the original reg codes for my windows and esc keys :P
