Do people really think the Sex Pistols invented punk?
Edit: I just realized I had a shitty OP.
I recall something about them being formed into a band by a record label. Has anyone ever heard that before?
If you guys still think this is a shit thread. I'll delete it.
Everyone wants to be special or something? Also it easier to do a limited print of something the hike up the price and drive it out the door because they're limited i guess
I s'pose that makes sense, I just really don't like it because it means I can't have kickass venture bros shirts or adventure time shirts now, and I'm sure I'm missing some other weekly venture because the world conspires against me
Because they are designer T-shirts and the company buying these designs can't afford to print large amounts
Wait what how, is they're designer how does the company not have enough money to print however the fuck much they want? Is it a royalties thing?
Psh beats me
but its a small site and they have tons of designs, all of which I assume they purchase, and because of the cost/large amount of designs they only print a small amount of each

thats my guess anyway
If you print more T-shirts than you sell, you just waste all the time and money on those shirts.
Only producing what you sell is the whole Lean Process thing that US manufacturers are trying to do now.

Well that's just a shitty way of doing business, they're spending too much designs. you need to slam out some horrid mediocre shit that nonetheless sells. Then if you want to go high budget after building up some, fine.

Yeah but the margin on clothes is pretty much the biggest type of margin you have in any type of retail business. If you can't cover leftover stock there you pretty much suck so haaaard.

I also don't care because I don't like the Sex Pistols beyond appreciating them as an early punk band
it has nothing to do with their message or philosophy or whatever, I just don't enjoy the sounds that they make
I'm more of a Clash guy anyway
Speaking of T-shirts, why is T-shirts available for a limited time suddenly some kind of amazing trend? Did something happen?
Also Sex is a naughty word.

Yeah this basically except more of a Ramones guy
