It's the first thing I've written that's been "published".
I'm just thankful the artist was good, it's like playing russian roullette with those deviant art guys.

teen titans did it alright when they weren't doing the giant crying/angry head thing
but this, when people talk their mouths switch between like three different positions and it looks like it's missing frames of animation and I can't even tell if the plot is any good because the show's so fucking ugly I can't concentrate on it
God I love this show. I run through the show every couple of months and I love the fact that I have all 3 seasons on me at any time on my iPod.
Also I will never ever forgive myself for at one time thinking I was "too cool for Beast Wars" and giving away all my toys except a few. I quickly realized I was not and will never be too cool for Beast Wars and regret the decision to this very day. I luck fully still have Optimal Optimus, Depth Charge, and transmetal 2 Dinobot. However, I know I never got rid of Transmetal 2 Megatron and my very first figure, a little blue beetle guy whose name I can't remember, but I cannot find them. I tear my room apart every couple of months and search, but to no avail.

Yea, that's the guy. And I have thought about that route before, but man, the sentimental value is through the roof. Like, I'm willing to look up Transmetal 2 Megatron on eBay because he was awesome, but he was just one of my guys, an early birthday gift in fact. But this Beetle guy was my first. It's like, special, ya know?
I remember owning the Beast Wars game for the PC. I never ever got it to run properly. I heard it sucked in the reviews but I still want to play it, because it's freaking Beast Wars.
They need to make a new Beast Wars game, we're at the point where most game graphics are better-looking than what they did on the show.
Also, looking at Transformers Animated, I realize one problem it has: American Censorship. Beast Wars was made in Canada, so we got to see characters get shot, stabbed, and sliced up. We also got heartwrenching episodes like Code of Hero and Transmutate. We'll NEVER see that kind of stuff on the new show because they'll never let anyone dramatically die, and never allow episodes as dark as Transmutate. At the same time, we'll never see anyone get shot, or stabbed, or sliced up in the new show. All shots will miss, and all melee attacks will bounce off. It's a little sad that so much of Beast Wars was dependent on the time and place it was made.
Edit: Example. There's this one Character on animated who's on the good side but is a humungous prick. If this were Beast Wars he'd get beat the hell up. But in animated they wuss out and teach us about patience and tolerance. It's frustrating knowing that guy will never Get His.

Your whole post is terrible. Not trying to insult you, but good god, your complaints are the worst. "It's bad because it's not dark and edgy like Beast Wars was".
Beast Wars was really good, and it was more mature than Transformers: Animated, but you fail to realise that the target audiences are completely different.
I am reminded of that one PA strip where the guy complains about a blueberry muffin or something because it wasn't chocolate.
"Transformers: Animated is awful because it is not this completely different thing it was never meant to be!"
That is your post, condensed.

I completely understand; I've dealt with the exact situation with three of the McDonalds ones. But eventually you'll want the thing back so bad, you don't care who's it was at first or that wasn't yours to begin with. It's yours now, and that's what matters.

If you're talking about Sentinel Prime, he does tend to get his a lot. Falling off an uncompleted highway, getting knocked onto his ass by Grimlock, losing his body to the Headmaster, handcuffed right into stasis-lock, having a whole tower drop on him..
or Transformers Poorly Animated And Also Has Terrible Character Designs
THANK YOU
God the flack I get for thinking this show is shit on the TF forums. The argument that it's for kids is also a moot point. Beast Wars was for kids. It still managed not to talk down to them or have villans who say noob.

Grimlock is cool but he could be cooler if he wasn't so faithful to his G1 figure. Would have possibly allowed for better arms.
Prowl is nifty, but his hips are loose as hell and he takes a while to transform. Voyager OP is amazing except for the lame axe. Soundwave has a fun transformation and has Lazerbeak who turns into a guitar, I just wish he was bigger.
I doubt one could argue that the animated toys are bad. I'm going to try to get Grimlock, and maybe the Wreck-Gar toy when it comes out next year. My one minor complaint is the lack of detail on the figures. They're a little too smooth and don't really have the raised and lowered plastic of transformers of yore.
Anyone else have one of the classics seekers? I just got Acid Storm, and I'm loving this toy. Easy to transform, G1 accurate, deco based on an obscure character. It's just awesome.

Sucks about Quickstrike, though. I had enough that it never bothered me too much, but it always irritated me a little.
Hard to pick a favorite, really. I liked the transmetal Megatron a lot, though.
Out of the entire line I think Optimal Optimus Primal is the best mold. He held together and all of his transformations looked natural.
Close Second is TM Megatron though. Just one of those toys you can screw around with. Even did his Dino rollerskate mode a few times.
DECEPTICON HEEERO!
So I'll forever associate it with sweaty balls
fucking saved
Originally I was like "Fuck this noise and you can shove your phong shaders" but after a few episodes I warmed up to it. It's cool.
they should call it Transformers Poorly Animated

it's been a good run
"prepare for total ownage"
"you got punk'd"
all callin' guys noobs
alright guys I get it, he uses the internet, he's an evil robotics nerd, great
Good casting, a neat style, but terrible animation quality and could've been executed a lot better for the most part.
