So I just bought a new Arcade to replace my Pro that done fucked up last year. I recovered my Gamertag fine and I can get to my old content fine (though currently I only have a 256 until my UK peeps can send my old HD back to me in Germany). Nearly all of the stuff works fine as long as I'm connect to XBL, which I'm fine with to be honest. Except Sonic 1. When I view it in the Dashboard it looks like the full version, and has my achievements listed. But when I staret it it acts like the trial version. When I click "unlock full version" the download manager thing shows a tick next to full version, but if I choose to download again it happens (at normal speed) then restarts my game, only to still be the trial.
Do I need to call MS and shout at them to reregister my Xbox as the right one? See, it's a bit of a problem because all my account, including the credit card it uses are UK based, but I guess I'd need to call the DE hotline.
And when I get my HD back is there much chance of this happening with my other content? I have gundreds of pounds of XBLA games and Oblivion content I'd rather not lose.

If that fails, then yeah, call MS. they should be easier to deal with these days since they have actually put some helpful steps in place to aid console migration, and shouldn't be getting hammered by quite so many RROD calls now.
Although having said that, I do remember there being some old thread where a guy had trouble crossing continents with his foreign 360, foreign credit card details remaining intact. You shouldn't have a problem over in Germany, since it's all PAL territory anyway.
Just out of curiosity and to spare a new thread - in the full version of soul calibur is there any way to make it widescreen? Not pillared?
