Quick Question - 360 NHL 09 Region Free?

I realize there's already a NHL 09 thread, but seeing that it's largely a Game On thread, I figured I wouldn't disturb the peace there with my question. I'm looking for NHL 09 online, but everywhere states that its for the US region can someone confirm with me whether it is region locked or not? It would also be nice for someone to point me towards an Asian version.

It would really suck if its only for the US. D:

    I searched some more to no avail, and it looks like EA Games are usually region locked. This isn't good at all.
