    Nintendo only came in afterwards, they never worked on Prime themselves.

    I'd link you to a "history of retro" but it 404s on IGN now.

    Sounds good in theory. We'll see how it plays out - but with new IPs, I don't have anything to lose by being a little optimistic on this one.

    Minor? I wouldn't call scrapping development three times, replacing most of the development team, changing game's perspective, deciding how game would control, and introducing major elements like scanning "minor influence". Not to mention that Pacini didn't even direct first game. His first directing job was MP2.

    You're right, Pacini didn't direct the first game-he was Lead Designer.

    Unless every single one of the offshoot developers that made failed games used the exact same software development methodology in the same circumstances, stop lumping them together so you can pretend they mean something.

    Putting 20/20 hindsight on "history" of things not causally related is really irritating, please stop it.
