Yes, but there's just something about him. Something around the eyes, I don't know, reminds me of... me. No. I'm sure of it, I hate him.
Evidently Mr. Ringo's an educated man. Now I really hate him.

yeah! dream's arc overarches the entire series, fandy
you should read the whole thing
Oh wow that's awesome
Now I have a fourth comic series to read in addition to this Heir to The Empire series oh nooooo

It's true, you are a good woman. Then again, you may be the antichrist.

Speaking of trilogies, I think the trilogy with the most consistent quality is, surprisingly, the Bourne trilogy and not LotR. Also, the Bourne trilogy is the only trilogy I can think of where the third film far surpassed the second film.
Really? Most people I've spoken to agree that the second Bourne film was nearly unwatchable due to overuse of shaky-cam.
I tell you a film that was bad for shakey cam. The Kingdom. Me and my little sister actually had to walk out of the cinema as we were both on the verge of vomiting. We rented it later and I watched it with my wife and in-laws and I still only just managed to sit through it on a small screen.
Yeah, I was expecting a thoughtful, semi-realistic fantasy movie with Stardust
I think what I got was so contrary to that expectation I just hated it
I haven't read or seen a truly fantastic Neil Gaiman book/film, (although some of his short stories come close) but his stuff is perfectly amiable and written with good humour. I'm not sure what I was expecting with Stardust but I'd heard mixed reviews so I was pleasantly surprised.
Mirrormask was more inventive, but not so fun.
i'm a big neil gaiman fan, so i always have high expectations for him. i'm glad stardust was good. and mirrormask was a bit too blah for me, though it was interesting. i bought the neverwhere bbc miniseries years back but haven't gotten aroudn to watching it yet, because everything i've heard about it sounds not good. i could see american gods working as a movie
My older sister has tickets to see him give a talk on the 28th October and has asked me along. I'm kind of aware of Neil Gaiman but haven't really read any of his stuff or anything. I kind of feel like I should go because I have this notion that he is the sort of person that a person like me should be into but don't really know what the fuck. I guess I'll go.
I was about 20 minutes into Godfather III when I realised I had better things to do with my time. I wouldn't say it was a terrible film but if you'd just watched parts I & II the day before, yeah that shit's pretty bad.

I really need to watch No Country again now that I've read the book and really understand what's going on beneath the surface
I have a feeling I'll appreciate it way more the second time around
and then if it's as good as the novel I'll get to yell at everyone who doesn't get it and call them morons, which is always fun (especially since I didn't really get it the first time through either!)

do you ever get tired of being so terrible?
I mean I'm laying the blame squarely at bodacious B here

But in no way was it as good as Ultimatum
Ultimatum was fucking incredible, I watch it every few weeks
I always catch them on TV and either come in during the middle or get bored during commercial breaks
People who don't like No Country for Old Men are dumb and I hate them
Also the Godfather

You hate the Godfather?
Damn Olivaw...damn.
I can appreciate it as a great movie
But I can't sit through all of it
If that makes sense
That is NOT what I said and you know it
Everyone should have to watch the Godfather all the way through at least once and if they don't like it they should be imprisoned
Can't have people like that wandering the streets

it just suffers for not being incredible like the others
I can appreciate it without being in love with it
phantom punch and all
phantom punch
Still funny.

It's an abomination.
no, you can't appreciate it as a great movie because you haven't seen it all
you can only concede that other people find it a great movie
That works too

I always sucked with black because I just wanted to get Sengir Vampires and the Lord of the Pit out.
