He's not wrong, the time control mechanics in themselves are a ton of fun. Everytime I showed this game to a friend I basically did the same demonstration. It's kind of hard to demonstrate the puzzle solving subtleties unless someone is playing it for themself.
Obviously it's rude that he is saying the game isn't about anything, but do you really think he's had a hard look at the game? If I had heard about Braid through the media I wouldn't have known what was going on while playing it for a while. He probably just snagged every xbox live title in between money fights with his friends there.
Either that or he saw someone in his entourage playing it and wanted to goof off to the camera about it. Sure he says dumb things, but he seems like the type to be at a loss for words, seeing as half his lyrics are his name.
Because I set my computer's location to Canada, vista likes to occasionally flip to the French Canadian keyboard setting. Among other inconveniences, this switches those symbols around. I never found out which keybind does it, or if it is just arbitrary, but it hasn't happened in a few months.
