So the Second Zeitgeist movie is coming out in a couple weeks, and I'm ready to get yet another heady mindfuck that this series is sure to provide.
For those of you who don't know, the first movie explored these concepts:
Part 1: The Judao-Christian Religion is a big fat lie
Part 2: 9/11 was contrived by the US government to create a means to enact Really Horrible Legislation to take away your civil liberties and start a war that cannot be won
Part 3: Everything is controlled by World Bankers who want you to be mindless drones who don't listen to movies like Zeitgeist and want RFID chips implanted in your arm
There is hope that the second movie wont be all bad news and that it will actually provide some clarification on how the general public can change all this (if it is indeed real).
If not, at least it will provide some entertainment to those of us willing to believe that in the end, we are totally fucked and we really don't have the energy to care.

Granted, he was smart enough to ask me as to why he shouldn't believe the crap in this internet documentary. But the fact remains that he did, even for a few hours.
I really don't get it.
My personal view is that it is awesome even if it is not real.
This is because it encourages you to question the authority and this is always good.
It makes me think that they are stupid people. A dumb person.

I have a talent.
This is that I am really good at walking in other people's shoes.
When I stand in other people's shoes and watch this movie, I get the sense that they hate it because:
A) They simply don't want to accept that something this horrible could exist
C)I R Religious so of course if they are wrong about the first part of the movie they are wrong about everything else
D) The ideas in this film are dangerous so it should be degraded and ignored in all ways possible.
I like ideas. Ideas are cool. The ideas this film present are interesting because they are so severe. If they are false, that's fine, because they are more beneficial than they are harmful. They may cause someone to believe in something ludicrous for a few hours, but eventually all they will take from this movie is that it is good to question the authority.
I'm not talking about blowing up buildings and shooting the president, I'm talking about asking why. This movie raises alot of questions, and that is awesome because they all ask why. The movie also provides the answers, which I think is where many of you disagree with the validity of its message. Personally I'm still neutral.

Aside for the things about Jesus, which even I as an atheist find dubious. The rest of the movie is fueled by secret society paranoia and conspiracy theory bullshit which have all been proven to be wrong at every turn.
