Dead Frontier, something to hold us over until L4D?
Dead Frontier is a 2D top down, graphical and free mmorpg. Basically, think of it as a graphical Urban Dead, and instead of facing other players, you're facing npcs. The premise of the game, is that you start out as a rookie, and have to survive and become more powerful. There are many different classes with many different bonuses and drawbacks. The game is all browser based, and when you go out to do missions and switches to a 2d isometric view that plays in flash. You can play with other players and go out and raid, and try to get weapons and supplies. In camp, you can buy things, upgrade your character, etc. You can tell it was designed by one guy, but I know people loves zombie, love co-op. and love free games, so we can give it a try for a while.

Give me a kiss to build a dream on; And my imagination will thrive upon that kiss; Sweetheart, I ask no more than this; A kiss to build a dream on
I was wondering when a Dead Frontier thread would be made. I'm playing a lvl 9 fireman right now, name of Flanky. Look through my inventory, if you see anything you need/want i will probably give it to you
If you're too lazy to read through a wiki:
Some basic stuff for you dudes: The bigger the gun/sword/axe you have, the more aggro you draw, and faster. You start as basic shamblers, and some fat shamblers. You go from there to sprinting zombies, to sprinting fat zombies, to long armed sprinters, green zombies, and those guys are nasty and you should not be near them yet.
The farther right you go, the nastier the baddies you meet. Go far enough with high enough aggro and you'll meet a boss zombie.
Going on an item run is incredibly helpful if you know what you're doing. Do your best not to even attack any zombies. Search everything you can while keeping your aggro low. Running back and forth between 2 screens does not refresh items.
Everything is player-oriented, you buy items from other players and you buy services from them.
