Not sure what's wrong

First things first:
2 gefore 9800 GTX graphics cards (each running one monitor)
1 750 GB Seagate Barracuda Hard drive
intel core 2 quad-core processor
Cooler Master 650W PSU
window xp 64-bit

I built my computer about six months but just recently added the second monitor. I'm not sure if the second monitor has much to do with it but recently my computer has been freezing up a lot then when I turn it back on only the monitor on the second graphics card will turn on (my secondary monitor until recently i switched them). While I'm running just the monitor on the second card it has yet to freeze up. However if I wait about 15-30 minutes they both will turn on fine but then it is bound to freeze up again. I looked around the internet for similar problems and what came up was bad sectors in the hard drive. So I ran the HD check that windows has and I ran the SeaTools DOS one, both came up clean.

So I'm pretty stumped. Any ideas? I'm not ready to rule out the HD but I really have no idea. Is there any other way to check for bad sectors besides the program the Seagate website gives me?

Sounds like a dying video card to me. Try taking one out (I know, no more crysis on omgwtf) and using it that way for a while.

Of course, if you used a more stable 64-bit OS, like Vista 64-bit, we could *really* be sure it's the card and not just faulty drivers, which you said nothing about updating.

Also, if the 2 video cards are running in SLI, can't you run the monitors off the same card?
