I don't feel sufficiently motivated enough to motivate another person. I just don't seem to have it in me.

Guys, I'm tired. I just got back from the tallest summit on the island and my back, legs, fingers, neck and ass are all sore.

    Got some good photos though.

In my haste, it seems that I have made a most grievous vocabulary error, and subsequently brought shame upon myself and the forum. To make matters worse, I have also apparently opened the floodgates, allowing a Borat reference of all things to get through. For this I am deeply sorry.

rank man, when i'm feeling stressed and unfocused and i absolutely have to be, i do one of two things:

I go for a drive, stop at mcdonalds, get some icecream on the way back. (take your sketchbook)
or I go to the gym/go for a run/some sort of exercise, really push yourself physically.

it gives you a boost of energy and while you're running, think about what it is you have to do, plan out the time it's going to take, even go so far as to plan the breaks for yourself and you'll be bloody amazed at how much you will accomplish in a short timespan.

lactic acids man, they are crazy.

wish I could, but I ain't got the time

just took a shower to give myself a break and sort of refresh myself.

setting up a timer now, one minute for gestural sketching, one minute for mondrian tool, one minute sketch, go to the next one.

god this is still so ridiculous though

My monday is cruising so far....except I have to go pick up a skirt for my other half, which sucks because I'm sure everyone in the store thinks I'm a cross dressing queen. I mean I only try the skirts on to make sure they're going to fit her and NOT because I secretly harbor fantasies of becoming a Carmen Miranda impersonator.

Haha, that's exactly what happened when a friend of mine had to pick up lube for him and his girlfriend's private matters. He thought the cashier would think he was gay.

Nahh, lots of straight people use lubricants for their private matters, it's slippery and fun. I thoroughly recommend it for all matters of a private nature, like changing the oil on your car, and greasing the wheels of justice.

Buying lube is embarrassing. I'll usually only do it if there's a spotty teenage boy working at the cashier.

So spore was a huge disappointment.

Will Wright: "We were very focused, if anything, on making a game for more casual players. “Spore” has more depth than, let’s say, “The Sims” did. But we looked at the Metacritic scores for “Sims 2″, which was around 90, and something like “Half-Life“, which was 97, and we decided — quite a while back — that we would rather have the Metacritic and sales of “Sims 2″ than the Metacritic and sales of “Half-Life“."

    Translation:
We would rather have lots of money and a lower quality game, than a higher quality game, with heaps of content and less sales. What a douche.

It's hammering down isn't it? I have to duck out in a sec to get said skirt and some food for eating and I'm totally umbrellaless. I think I'm coming back slightly damp from my excursion.
