    You're right, my bad.

This is the actual map. Sorry for any inconvenience. Nothing's changed except Germany's army is still in Munich instead of in Berlin.

    • Russia, Germany, and Austria have retreats this phase, which are due on Saturday night by 9 PDT. If I get their retreat orders before then, we'll move directly into the Build phase of 1904, the orders for which are due Sunday night at 9 PDT.
    • As always, if you think I've made a mistake with your orders, let me know ASAP. I'll check the orders you sent, and if I made a mistake, I'll change it. I will NOT change it if you say "but no, I really meant this..." Too bad. Also, I'll only make changes for the most recent season. Now that Fall 1904 has gone up, for example, if you catch a mistake I made in the Spring 1904 orders, too bad.

Sorry about the tardiness folks, I've been dealing with reformatting my computer, and it hasn't been cooperating.

English Fleet at Norway retreats to Barents Sea.
Turkish Fleet at Rumania retreats to Black Sea.
Turkish Army at Constantinople retreats to Ankara
Russian Fleet at Sweden retreats to Finland. (Did not receive orders from Russia, so retreat was randomized).

Orders for Fall 1905 due on Friday night at 9 PDT.

Hey guys, I should have mentioned this earlier, but I'm in San Fran visiting family. The Friday update is going to have to wait until this afternoon or evening, because I have to leave soon; there's a whole mess of reasons for why it's going to take a lot longer for this update than normal updates.

Depending on the retreat situation, I'll either shift all of the due dates up a day, or try to squeeze a build/retreat orders day into Sunday; we'll see how it goes.

Sorry for the inconvenience (and hypocrisy, considering how I reacted to people turning in late orders :| )

GM's Notes: (READ THESE, THEY'RE SUPER IMPORTANT THIS TIME!!!)
    • Conveniently, there were no retreats for either game. Here's the plan: I'm going to give you guys until Monday night at 9 PDT to send in Build orders. At that point, I'm going to put the game on hold until next Sunday, because I will be visiting family next weekend as well.
    • It's very important that you double check to make sure I input the correct orders this time around. Why? Well, because my laptop didn't recognize the jDip save files from my PC for some stupid fucking reason, so I had to go into Edit mode and recreate each map from the JPEGs of the last resolution posts. Thus, I had two chances to fuck something up, so be sure everything went as planned.

    It's cool.

I'm trying to decide if i hope i was right, or hope i was wrong.

Either way, i've learned a lot from this game. Made some rookie mistakes, but hey, it was my first game.

It's cool. That's how the game is played. I'd be lying if I didn't say I'd thought about it. I could have one something almost as good a few turns ago. :^:

Hey guys, is there any reason we can't just post our builds now, to each other? The deadline passed, so there's no incentive to lie- it'll just be revealed when VH gets back.

That way I can get my brain thinkeratin'.

France did not send in orders, therefore the unit furthest from him home centers was disbanded.

GAME IS PUT ON HOLD UNTIL SUNDAY EVENING.

If you guys want, you can talk about stuff until then, but don't send any orders until I resume the game.

I am well aware of that. But the powers of WW1 are most often referred to as the "Central Powers" and the "Entente," and "Axis of Evil" was never used to describe either side during any of the World Wars. Though it is safe to assume I am referring to the Axis of WW2, in the absence of Japan, based on the map and not the date, considering this is occurring well before the First World War.

    So nyeh.

Our game has been much more cautious and traditional, I'd say- though with the obvious exception that both Austria and Italy are doing very well, which is atypical.
