I can make a guy and I can TRY to connect but I don't even get far enough to pick a server, I just get the overhead shot of the lobby for a few seconds before it throws me out and tells me to check my cables
I thought maybe it was the internet in the dorms being terrible again (they way they block ports makes me unable to download updates for and use the auction house in Final Fantasy XI, for example) but I've tried connecting from a few other places and I get the same thing
I just straight up ran the installer, is there some additional patch I need to download or am I just doing it wrong
Tonight was basically more proof that nobody should ever play with me. Basically I led 3 people on a quest I thought I remembered from the dreamcast days when in fact I was just having a grand delusion and there was no real reward from the quest at all. Of course, it took me over an hour to realize this and I think nobody was having fun at that point anyway. Sorry about that guys.

I'm sure there was a message saying "De Rol Le dropped Maracas!" after we beat him. Not sure what we did wrong.

It's fine. I was just getting sleepy due to regularly waking up at 4 in the morning for ROTC. Did you check the music player in Cave 3 next to the suspicious looking rock formation?
Tip 1:
You can access your items/weapons/spells quickly without bring up the menu by hitting the crlt/alt button layout and pressing yellow. Press left or right to cycle between the pages.
Tip 2:
If you press start/menu button you will not be affected by the enemies/traps that make your character slow to a walk. Useful if you are about to be cornered by monsters and you want to dash by them without being slowed down or just avoiding hidden bomb traps in long hallways by running straight.
Tip 3:
If you are low on sol atomizers, you can get rid of the effect on you a different way. For example, if you have any affliction on you that you don't want, you can override it by getting another lesser affliction on yourself. For example, a lily uses silence or you get shocked, if you wait by him to poison you.
Tip 4:
If you have a force on your team and if you aren't a force, DO NOT PICK UP ANY FLUIDS. Leave them for someone who really needs them. Infact, always have afew on yourself to give to your fellow force during boss fights or long ass dungeon runs. Along with having to use magic to be any help, we have to use fluids on our mags to keep up on damage as well.
Tip 5:
Low on cash? It might be boring but doing solo runs or the forest/caves where you can effectively kill gains you a load of cash quickly. Loot and sell everything. Grouping is fun and faster, but it will not make you any money.

'Nuff said.
Also, in case no one has linked this yet: A handy mag feeding chart. A list of each mag and what their diets are.
He said it was worse than the sword he had and left.
That would be me. I said that before I saw that it had a high chance of one-shotting a monster  . The only reason I left was i had enough playtime for one day and left.

I pretty grab everything everywhere. If I can't use it I can definitely sell it.
I've been snooping around the music files. I found the Burning Ranger's theme, a bunch of songs from Sonic Adventure, City Escape, and Casino Night Zone.
Which files are for Caves so I can listen to Casino Night as I run through them?

And that is why you are a horrible teammate.
Nothing wrong with grabbing things to sell if no one else wants it. I'm sure that Ranger doesn't need yet another Handgun +2, or the Hunter a zero slot Frame. Giving your teammates first crack at items they might actually need should go without saying.

This.
And how dare you pass judgement. Have you ever played with me?

Haha, yeah.
I did have quite a bit of fun with you guys. And would play again. Next time though I would have a guide next to me before doing a Guild Quest. The whole sage with communicating when and how to stand on buttons, hit switches and run though doors had me laughing to myself as it went on. I got given some Cool Ranger weapons and listens to fun Sega Music I hadn't heard in PSO before.

And it is also why I am always broke.
Hm, I'm not sure Mines 2 likes me. Both times I tried to go there I got booted out.

Like I need to play with you to pass judgement, my dps backs me up!
*joking aside*
I really want to clear ruins normal or hard forest but that requires a team of 4 =(

The only one you have to hate in PSO has to do with going through De Rol Le with that stupid ass ranger.

Game up at Block 2 as always.
Edit: Just duo'd De Rol Le. Rock on.

He plays dead during the boss fight. Has at least since GC/Xbox.
You people had it easy then.
Also got a late night game up, aside from the other one with gilder in it. As always it's in skyline block 2, pass is wang, game name's PA wang.

I also have a Hell Saber for the first sword user I see.
Aw, a saber? Damn.
Where can you see me?
He said it was worse than the sword he had and left.
That would be me. I said that before I saw that it had a high chance of one-shotting a monster
Trust me, that sword is going nowhere.
That's why I'm keeping my 2 slot Soul Frame for a while.

I'm L17/18 right now, I forgot honestly :P
Edit - Unless you're still playing DualEdge.
Can trade TF2 items or whatever else you're interested in. PM me.
Which lobby/game name?

It was a solo quest. The quest also made sure that EVERY corner of the map included 900 enemies.
