The super-moves really need to be on a different key than your second tier of items. I just fucking blew a full charge on a small mob right before a boss. :x

Looking for a DX:HR OnLive code for my kid brother.
Can trade TF2 items or whatever else you're interested in. PM me.

Also, if you unequip your mag at any time, the charge will be reset.
I found this out the very hard way.
I don't even know why unequiping a mag is even possible.

It's so you can equip another mag. If you fight in the Normal Mines long enough, you may eventually come across a spare mag (starter stats, 5 def and nothing else). You can technically use several different mags equipped with different stats.
The game keeps taking me to the patch screen that shows up before the game, and then downloading something, then saying "press enter key to exit" then I restart the game and it does the same thing. Now it's telling me the patch server is down so I can't play? wtf?
Yeah I can't touch this until manual Admin approval for their boards goes through (seriously what the hell?) so I can post about Antivir telling me it's a Crypt.ULPM.Gen trojan.
I got booted, but it seemed to be a big one. When I reconnected there was only one ship, Don't Panic. I think they just booted everyone at once to make them download the patch.

Oh good, I thought it was just me.
Everyone needs to hit 40 so we can trounce EP4 boss on normal. It's a matter of Gilder's honor.

Also, your mag's synchro goes down when you quit the game, unless you deposit it in the checkroom.
Of course, I usually forget and start running round Ragol without a mag equipped...
So this is weird. My friend and I were in our game, I used my Mag's ability (the one where you hit everything close to you) during this animation, everyone in our game's levels went up to 200, except mine, which went to 148. I then quit, to try and undo this (this would essentially ruin all the character development I've been doing) and now it won't let me back onto the game. : (
I don't think the Mag's synchro goes down anymore. I only think it did that on Dreamcast. Never had a problem with it on GCN as far as I remember.
I think I actually tested it on this version by starting a game and then going out and back into one, and it didn't go down. I might be making this up somehow, though...
I'm hopping on now. If you're running vista and it tells you to check the site when you try and log in, just open it via the online.exe file and it should be fine.

I'm pretty sure it happened in the GCN version, where I learnt that little trick. It's possible it doesn't do it in Blue Burst though - my mag's synchro is often on or around 0% most of the time anyway...
Hrm, rolled a up a force and the game kicked me as soon as I got in the PA room. Looks like I needed some mucho levels to catch up with everyone anyway.
So I just downloaded and installed the game without too much hassle, however whenever I pick a server, and then pick a block, the game just seems to stop doing anything and wont progress into the lobby. Has anyone else encountered this, or perhaps a way to fix it? It doesn't even appear to be sending data, according to the networking tab under task manager.
Also, since it doesn't seem like this is illegal after all, I'm down for playing some. But do we have a specific ship, or server, or whatever, or like a player list to update for the front page?

We all generally play on Skyline Block 2. Look out for PA Game or whatever in the team list, password is the usual.

Back in now it seems ... or it's just timing out at the next screen ... nope, server's full. :x
BTW, thanks for showing me around Ep2 guys, but I'm definitely not ready for it yet. At least not on Hard mode. :P

edit: If I run online.exe in administrator mode I get a server is full error. That's a little better I guess.

Grah! There was a shit ton of stuff in the weapon shop and once I get to the bank, I get booted.
I'm setting up a game in Don't Panic! block 2.

Apparently there's some chance of getting an awesome rare weapon from his "game," but more than likely you'll end up with a very expensive monomate.
And hey, at least there's something to spend our meseta on now.

But seriously, is Phantasy Star Universe bad? I was thinking about picking it up on the cheap, but if it sucks...
