    Long before that she was an insignificant character in Buffy and a significant character in Angel. Honestly, I like her the most when she isn't normal. As a sadistic bitch of a vampire and as a seriously emotionally damaged woman I quite like her, but as a regular coping person she's kinda eh.

    I'm so excited for the dexter panel at comic con on thursday. Also, Rita was a dumb bitch who had some redeeming qualities, but that was about it. The real woman to hate on dexter was lyla (or however they spelled that name), I was just seething constantly while she was on screen.

    Lilah and Rita weren't bad characters really, I just don't think Lilah was handled handled well. It felt like she stayed in the show too long. As in Dexter would have gotten tired of her quickly or class her as not useful and push her out of his life.

    Rita, I don't think you were supposed to like though. It felt to me that she was supposed to be Dexter's foil. And since Dexter is the "hero" of the show the fact that she constantly forced him to be act like a human, and do day to day family stuff made you dislike her because it stopped Dexter from doing what he wanted. And I mean I know he originally thought of her as his "cover" but I never really bought him developing real feelings for her.

    Quinn just feels like Doakes-lite to me.

    I really like Doakes.

    The whole sidestory in season one about him going after Carlos Guerera really entertained me, considering that it had nothing to do with the plot at large.

    So I just started watching this on Netflix. I'm on episode 8 of Season 1.

    I totally called who the killer was.

    Can't wait to see where this goes.

    My brother says that basically for season five they are hinting that
    Deb is finally going to figure out what dex is... Not terribly surprising considering she did in the first book, and by this point dexter has so many things to juggle it was bound to happen.
