I want to play, it has been killing me. Stupid obligations.
Tonight I will be playing pretty much from the moment I get off work until 3:00am, at which point I have to jump in a car and head to St. Louis. Hopefully I'll be back home around 1:00pm to start playing again! But my birthday is this weekend so I'm going to get dragged from my beloved WAR at least two nights.

"What do you want for your birthday, Accualt?"
"To be left alone while I bathe in the blood of the fallen."

The best part about Goldspammers is when they get banned.
"Oi! Gazbag said to smash um gud, so we did agun and agun!"
Ah, so that's what those messages are. I didn't catch that.
If you think about it, PQ's are tailor-made for gold farmers. Large numbers of mobs spawning within a small area every ___ minutes. All you need do is drop a couple of farmbots in there and boom, off you go.
Mythic's serverwide banning messages are the best thing ever
Also apparently there is a similar message for when someone dings rank 40.
Hah, I guess that's better then my idea for a title. First people to hit 40 on the servers get the title "No life" But I guess that's even more awesome than.
The Gold Spam messages would be nice if they didn't pop up right in front of your screen, and if the "OK" button didn't obscure bits of the message. It's an interesting mechanic to shame those caught, but - like a lot of WAR - was poorly slapped on.
I also reread this thread, and holy hell, I didn't know the ball carrier in Mourkain Temple was supposed to get a massive debuff. If thats the way it is supposed to work that makes the scenario MUCH more palpatable. As it is, the first person to get it, basically gets it, holds it, and makes it a mad scramble for the opposing side to push through throngs of ranged dps fodder - no fun.
Also, what the hell is up with turning into a chicken in a NON-RvR environment (during a Public Quest actually) by healing someone one level below you. This happened to me last night as I had reached level 12 in Ostland, was nowhere near the RvR area, and tossed a buff on someone who was PvP flagged, and was promptly turned into a chicken. I could have sworn this mechanic was tweaked so something like this DIDNT happen.
And really - this "Ability Not Ready" message needs to be fixed, like yesterday. There is nothing more frustrating than thinking you've gotten off a heal, only to realize you received the Ability Not Ready message and didn't even know it. No fun. At all.

That would be post #667. The 666th reply. Either way, it is the will of the Changer of Ways.
I said it before, and I'll say it again: The sound effects are fantastic. Right in da Jibblies sounds painful, and I could be wrong, but I swear I hear a high-pitched yelp sometimes when I land one.

What? He does. The damage he's taking every three seconds ramps up infinitely. About a minute in you're taking 1000 per three seconds. You're gonna drop it eventually, and if the enemy is in the right place to click before one of your mates, you're fucked.

Totally agree. I love how a near-miss from an Engineer's musket sounds like the bullet pings and whines from SAVING PRIVATE RYAN.
I've mostly been charging in and trying to crush things with my hammer and spamming heals on anyone I see below 90% health
You probably will have fun doing that. Everyone else on your team (especially Bright Wizards) would probably prefer you were a runepriest or archmage though.

Even as early as Monday I had gold farmer whispers on my server. I also didn't catch the meaning behind the banning messages, but that is cool. 8-)
So, I still haven't gotten to have a go at the T1 greenskin vs. stuntie scenario yet, and I've essentially been queued up for it from rank 2 till my current rank of 10. I'm really thinking that this may be a bug. I have a hard time believing that essentially everyone on my server is queued up in the chaos vs. empire scenario (admittedly I haven't tried the elf scenario) since the wait time on chaos vs. empire for me has never lasted more than 10-15 minutes.

Unless they've changed it in the last couple of days since I've played MT - I've seen entire games where one person has had the ball the entire game, with maybe one healer on them. They have not dropped. If the mechanic works as folks say it does, there should be no way for a person to do that unless they weren't getting the debuff.

It happened because you healed someone with a RvR flag and as such it automaticaly triggers you to be flagged for RvR which in turn triggered the debuff.
Anyway. almost every single person I've partied up ironicly has joined the Candymancers for Order. : /

You can be healed through the max debuff. But eventually you need to get away from the enemy or they'll drop you quick.

The problem was you get flagged for PvP whenever you're buffing/healing a player thats PvP flagged. PvP flag+lower tier=chicken. Thats how it's supposed to work.
Well, yeah. I now have more active characters than in any time in my MMO Career.
14 Marauder, TSM Main
7 Black Ork, T7M Alt
7 Engineer, not getting much play
10 Ironbreaker, looking like my Order main
6/7 Witch Hunter, lotsa fun so far
Gods, why is every career fun? Why is the flavor great? the Fun/flavor quotient is soo much higher than it has any right to be. WTB a 30-hour day so I can actually get stuff done of more than 1-2 toons per day.

Sev: Your gameplay is the most heavily yomi based around. Usually you look for characters that allow you to force guessing situations for big dmg. Even if the guess is mathematically nowhere near in your favor lol. You're happiest when you have either a 50/50, 33/33/33 or even a 75/25 situation to go crazy with. And you will take big risks to force those situations to come up.

PS. Happy Birthday!
I'm sigging this Tyrannus, I'll try not to put a fat joke in there somewhere.
this made me laugh harder than it should have
It floors me that some people have multiple characters in the 13-16 range. I'm at 16 and haven't had time to make a single alt.
Anyone else get this?
No. I'd advise you to ignore it unless you can't log in tonight.
And the first gold spammers appeared last nite. Woo Hoo.
They (Gold Spammers) were sending tells on Tuesday night.
It was pretty annoying.

I got about 10 goldspamming tells last night. Bad news for them since I reported all of them and the Banhammer is in full effect.

I was in beta ages ago, did beta people get free game time or something?
Apparently not, I guess that asshole Bright Wizard that sat around doing nothing in Nordenwatch got to keep collecting his renown.
If you pre-ordered from certain retaliers, most of them fucked up and didn't get the game out on release.
So Mythic, in the best move imaginable, extended the time on Beta accounts until you got your game(The expected delivery date of it, anyway)
Yes.
Sigg'd, and I get reply #666.
This is a sign I need to go home to play.
