Yeah but you guys wont let me in cuz your leader is being prudish about PA forum accounts for some reason, so im not really interested anymore. They offered me to join some Sugarcoats or whatever and then said maybe at a later date i could join Candymancers...yeah no thanks, sounds too elitist so far to me, and a big exercise in pointlessness when all i wanna do is play with some PA'ers and have fun. o_O Honestly i dont really get the restrictiveness at all.

Not trying to be an asshole or anything but this is the impression i get of the guild so far and its not a good impression.

By the way is everyone having a tough time ranking up? Seems to take a bazillion experience and quests to gain 1 rank. I wish PVP gave more exp.

What's "being prudish about PA forum accounts" mean?

I totally picked this up the other day and started an engineer with the intent of hanging out with some forumers, but if there's some kind of serious restrictions on getting in then maybe it'd be better to move on.

That is not the case in T2. I've seen plenty of Gobbo's running around in T2, and occasionally a Black Orc or two.

I imagine part of this might be because the game basically forces you to quest in the other areas starting in the middle of Tier 2.

I jumped area at the end of Tier 1, because I hate the Ekrund zone. No one goes there, so I rarely see other folks out doing stuff.
I actually Abandoned several Ekrund quests because want to do them :p .

Khaine's Embrace is kind of fun too. It's a bit different from Nordenwatch and Gates.

Level 15 on my Zealot, was camping at a crowded PQ last night in between queues (anywhere from 10 seconds to 3 minutes for Troll crossing).

Basically I'd go into the scenario for a win, then pop out and get influence and xp from the PQ stage completes, then right back into the scenario(really wish they would let you pass on PQ bags, but thankfully my contribution was low enough I wasn't winning).

    The XP was flying!

Has anyone found an effective method to AOE grinding though? I remember PBAOE groups in DAOC were pretty crazy.

I wouldn't mind getting a lvl or two ahead of my RR as I'm always capping and wasting realm points.

I'm already feeling the acronym hit.

"I'm out of quests in EvC, maybe I'll head to DvE and queue us for PG?"

After typing it out in party chat I immediately felt like punching myself. Fortunately, actually queuing for Phoenix Gate on our server is equivalent.

I guess I meant DvH...I didn't even realize it was wrong until now. I guess in my head I'm calling High Elves just Elves. You've got those "nice" ones over there and these cutter goth chicks and cross dressing dudes over here.

I'm sorry but I was with a DoK yesterday in a PQ and it was like he had makeup on or something. Combine that with the long hair, robe, and I'm wondering why this guy didn't spend a tad few more seconds at character creation.

What I'm saying is that Dude (Looks like a lady) was playing in my head and I haaate Aerosmith.

Well I got WAR up and running. Rolled a Witch Elf on Eight peaks so hopefull I can poke you Obsidian Spur folks (You are destruction, right?).

Got to level 4 pretty sharpish and I'm hoping I can play around with all the settings soon so I can get it looking sorta niceish. Everythings just down on low low low settings right now =(

I was hoping to make 25 over the course of the weekend. So general consensus is that questing for the sake of questing isn't the most efficient method?

Most of my friends have out leveled me and questing is tedious as it takes forever to kill anything as a zealot mid tier 2. I guess I have the crazy AOE grinding you guys mentioned to look forward to at 20, but is scenarios (with almost instant pop) and PQ the best method to get there? Or would I be better off getting a partner and questing?

For comparison, my Ironbreaker averages 78 DPS over 4.5 million dmg dealt...

Do we have a listing of all the alt servers we have instead of the main Candymancers/Six Mouths Servers.

Hit a nice queue on Averheim last night and if I am forced to play an alt elsewhere i'd like to be on a server with more PA'ers

I need to start reading some of these books. The whole atmosphere in the game and little tid-bits in the ToK has really got me interested. I know a list existed a few weeks ago, anyone know where that is? And could recommend a good book/ series to start with?

Also Morsk, I've been listening to 3IOB since I figured out what your old sig was all about. Really great stuff. Need moar.

My sig has a magical link of nerdiness in it.

Are you a metal guy? If not, check out Iron Maiden next. Probably 3 Inches of Blood's biggest influence; not as thrash generally, but great music for playing WAR to. Also good for WAR: Arch Enemy.

How many other people would you expect to see playing an alt on an alt server? Like one? Two? I find it hard to think of a compelling reason to even play a character on some server I only log on to sometimes, when the queues are long and I'm impatient.

Nobody is going to do this. You just have to wait.

Well Averheim and Ulthuan are each others' alt servers. A Candymancer will find plenty of people to play with on Destro Ulthuan, or in theory. Is the Seventh Mouth allied with TSM? It should be, depending on if that confers the kind of social benefits I have in mind.
