ups question

Something I ordered from newegg arrived in my city friday night, but since ups doesn't deliver on weekends, my package will be sitting in cold building waiting until monday for me to touch it. I'm horribly impatient so I'm wondering if anyone knows if I can can grab my package at the ups office thing on saturday?

I don't think so. I don't think they will give you the package unless they've already attempted delivery and left the note on your door, which you would then need to present to them to show that it is actually going to you.

Yes you can do it but usually you need to contact the local UPS center directly. I call and have them hold my packages for pick-up when I know I won't be home for the delivery since I drive right by them on my way to work.

If you call the 1-800 number usually they won't do anything to help you and I had to do quite a bit of digging to find the number for the UPS center as it wasn't listed anywhere (found it in a job listing).

From my experience (having tried to do this a couple times myself), chances are the center where your package is sitting is closed on weekends.

They might be open today. UPS offers a Saturday Delivery service (it's crazy expensive), so you might have an opportunity to get over to the facility. Call first, of course.
