Actually, regarding barbershops, are there barbershops in cities other than Stormwind and Undercity? The guards in Darnassus atleast didn't have an option to track one down.

As far as I know I looked high and low in Thunder bluff, Slivermoon and Org. Asked a guard and it seems only the Undercity has it

Org's is in the Cleft of Shadow near the Rogue trainer.
so
since season 4 is coming to an end next week, is there any point in doing arenas this week if it won't get me enough points to get anything? i just spent my points on a new robe.
i only ask because i typically only respec for arena and not bg's, i can do fine in bg's with my raid spec.
and why the hell can't a human get a shaved head with a goatee without sideburns

I went to the ptr to see a bunch of things
My pets are still in my bags/bank {the items that repersent the pet} and in that pet kennel
Are the items ment to still be there? I can look at all the pets I have via the kennel but I still have the item
Take them out of your bank, close your bank and then use the pet/mount.
They will be put in your pet tab, which you can get to by hitting shift+p or by opening the character page (paper doll) and selecting the pet tab at the bottom.
i'm hoping my guild stops raiding with the patch, which has been hinted at since progression kills won't be counted, so i can just focus on farming
i only have 3.5k g on my one lone 70
maybe i'll try to level another guy to at least 60
but i just do not feel like raiding one month away from an expansion release

I'm sitting at about 26k between my characters at the moment. I'd love to push that to 30k before the expansion hits, but that'd be tough to do without selling off my stocked up ores, primals and such, but I guess I'll need to do that anyway.
Considering herb prices are going to skyrocket I'd say keep them and make a killing on the AH.
I remain skeptical about this. Everyone's been talking so much about how herbs are going to make them piles of gold, and saving up, I wouldn't be surprised if there was too much supply for the demand because people are trying to play the market this time. Then again they could have done that last time, we knew what the mats for JC would be. I guess lazy people are lazy.
I don't have as many herbs stockpiled as I intended to but it should be more than enough to at least get my warlock to 375. I love the idea of the profession so much that I want my shaman to have it too, but I'll keep her herb/alch for now because I'll need to be able to pick herbs in Northrend.
I have no idea when they broke this, either. At first in beta it wasn't working at all, then it was mostly working, i.e., most pets and mounts you would right-click to learn and they'd disappear, but a few wouldn't let you learn them (Clockwork Robot). Then in a later build they were learnable but would remain in your bag anyway.
I do wonder what sort of wonderful bugs are going to happen next week (oh god it's next week).
Yea. I'm worried about getting working versions of the few addons I use these days (I recently scaled back from like 50 to like 10 -- which had nothing to do with having to play wow on a laptop with a GMA 950 (ugh!, but at least 1 gig of ram and a centrino duo CPU) at my mother-in-law's until I get my family moved to where my new job is.
Speaking of which, we may have found someone to take over our lease (6 months to go, sigh) so the moving might happen alot sooner! So any prayers or well wishes you want to send my way for that would be gold.
As long as Pitbull, some type of all in one bag mod, fubar stuffs, Prat, CowTip, and SpellReminber work, I thikn I'm good. I'd also like it if OmniCC was working, and XLoot and Autobar are a-go on 3.0 day.
Aren't there some pets that aren't going to self destruct once you learn them? I'm pretty sure its going to just be the netherwhelp/diablo stone/frostwhelp/etc.
It takes 3-4 minutes to raise my skill from 305 to 306, just one point. And this has to go to 375.

I remember in vanilla WoW using swords for the start of my 60 career, up until I got the Spinal Reaper of Rags.
I think I got my last weapon skill point during a Vael kill.

I think I saw two people ever with a Spinal Reaper.
int no longer increases WS learn rate, that was removed quite a long time ago.
I just can't believe WS hasn't been removed yet, and yet they'll triple quest xp etc to make that faster. You level so fast from 20-60 these days that your weapon skill/defence is usually 1-3 levels behind your actual level as it is.

I haven't looked recently but plenty of addon authors have beta keys and of course access to the PTR. I use way too many addons but a lot of them are pure convenience tweaks (like to take screenshots without names in one button, or to add a line in tooltips to say what set something is from, etc.) But the big ones should be good to go. Hmm maybe I should look into that and download 3.0 versions this week before people crash Curse next week...
That's more what I'm worried about. The billions of people trying to madly download the updated 3.0 addons and just pooping out the hosting servers.

Earthroot is already up to 10g a stack on the AH on Icecrown. I made 20g selling three stacks of Silverleaf. Not alot, but for a level 20 character, it's enough to pay for everything the character needs. When I was checking prices, there was very little available on the AH. I don't know if this is the result of hoarding or people stocking up for inscription in advance, but if someone wants to take advantage and can handle the tedium, it's a good time to make some money.

Haha, that's awesome. People stocking up would presumably go pick it themselves, not pay crazy prices for it right now, but who knows...
When I was playing an Alliance alt on Forar's server I sold copper ore for like 5g a stack and was pretty well off before I even left the starter zones. Old servers with inflated economies: :^:

Not anymore, although hilariously enough on my first alliance Rogue I had a set of Int Gear that I would use to level up my weapons.
So so sad.
Sucky, I must have missed that in the patch notes.
Also, my warrior had the water breathing staff so I could go AFK under water and be almost 100% safe from ganking. Fuck you could even get ganked in booty bay and gadget in the inn if you went afk. I love that god damned staff.

God that was an awesome proc.
We had a hunter take one, /facepalm.
OS didn't have that shit locked down better? Or was this later on when the cool frogs and dolphins of PA were mostly gone?
Nah we didn't have too many loot rules for Molten Core. It is also possible that no warriors wanted the item, but that's not likely since we usually had 6-8 warriors back in MC days. (hence the later team execute guild name)

I'd be surprised if prices didn't go up, but people with stockpiles are definitely going to be pushing the price back down. I wonder if people will realize there will be two spikes in demand though, one with 3.0 and one with WOTLK releasing proper.
End on
I wish that someway, somehow, that I could save every one of us

Does anyone else sometimes enter "the zone" when PvPing?
Like, generally, I'm terrible at PvP in WoW. Really terrible. But then every so often, something in my brain just clicks, and I destroy anyone stupid enough to let me see them. At which point, healers start noticing I'm decimating everything and start healing me. Thus making me even more unstoppable. And then the BG is over and I start the next match and go back to 3 KB's and 92 deaths.
I noticed this happens with other games/things, too. Like in Halo I would be sucking it up on live, and then all of a sudden I'd be in the lead by 30 kills. Then that all goes away in the next match.
I must learn to harness this power.

I get in the zone all the damn time. So much so that I don't hear anything, I don't see anything but the fighting.
This leads to sometimes hilarious consequences when people are trying to tell me something in chat.
