whenever they encounter other hunters in the show it's good stuff
like the couple at the beginning of season 3 who met with unfortunate ends
or Gordon Walker, vampire hunter, who was eventually so dehumanized by hunting vampires he basically turned into a psychotic who enjoyed torturing vampires for the fuck of it
basically every other hunter they meet has a life touched by tragedy and are usually pretty damaged people as a result
but nobody is mopey or emo about it, they're just like "well you know what? fuck those demon bastards"

I remember Gordon
He was the one who would dip knives in vampire blood and then cut vamps with them, right?
Something about vamps being allergic to the blood of other ones, I think
in that he showed the dehumanizing effect being a hunter can have on a person, especially when his quarrey of choice (vampires) look and act human and some aren't even really evil.
so basically he ended up losing respect for any human life. Sam and Dean are hunters because they want to protect people from evil. Gordon was a hunter out of revenge first, and later, having nothing else, pure sadism.

It's 'Dead Man's Blood' meaning they snuck into a morgue and stole a big jar of blood from a corpse. If fucks a vampire up, basically sapping their strength and slowly poisoning/burning/killing them from the inside out.
The 'easy' to kill a vampire is to chop their head off, in one episode they are fighting in a lumber yard, Dean knocks a vampire onto a chop-block chainsaw and slowly lowers it. Then gets a nice spray of blood across his face as he makes contact.
Also, didn't Dean nail a vampire in the neck with a syringe full of embalming fluid?
Ok, see. This is a comical misunderstanding where I am actually talking about Dean from Supernatural. You know, the show this thread is about, but you think I'm talking about your horrible show.
I thought this show was supposed to be for teenage girls or something. Like X-files-light.
Am I wrong? I never bothered with the show when I saw the ads.
No man, it's serious business
I laughed so hard in the first episode of this season when Dean called the cell-phone company to get them to activate the GPS on Sam's phone and he knew that Sam would have the phone registered under the name Wedge Antilles
Yep that was all kinds of awesome.
Supernatural for those who dont watch it is as if Mulder and Scully were suddenly aware they were in a tv show and stopped taking chris carters bullshit no more.
I wouldn't really need a consistent visual, just enough that I have a decent idea on how they're designed. Cause my imagination works fine with a proper kick start, but without a real image or two I got nothing to work with.

fuck yeah
hahah, the holy water
the hell hounds
holy shit the hell hounds in this show are awesome
they're invisible
which doesn't sound all that impressive until you see scenes where people are just being ripped apart by an invisible force
pretty intense
Do they ever provide a visual of some sort? Like momentarily seeing a silhouette early on so you have an idea on build/size/etc?
The idea is neat but, even if they're chewing someone up, I don't think I could take it seriousely if I only had my imagination to work from.
this episode really upped the stakes at the end
nope. the pov camera for the hell hounds is like chest height on grown-ass men. so... probably pretty huge.
But not very often.
I wish they'd taken one of them.
Every second he's on screen is a second I'm not looking at Dean.
i hate you die please
Always has the answer! And Sam has nothing to do anymore except look like he might go evil at some point.
Too much ritual, not enough shooting stuff (although the last episode had plenty I suppose).
He's a crutch the writers are refusing to throw away!
They burned that place to the ground.
Bobby is their dad's best friend, and entertaining sidekick for Dean and a source of knowledge on stuff they just aren't that knowledgeable about.
If anything, get rid of Sam. He's a jerk.

And I thought my jokes were bad.
Paris and Doyle were pretty hilarious though
I would watch a show that starred Paris

I'll grab the DVDs off Netflix asap.
