Gee I wonder if they'll find a way to make Doomsday as awful as they've made everything else I used to love.

He looks pretty bad ass in the trailer. But yeah, they'll screw it up somehow.

Don't you remember when Superman was an angsty teen that couldn't fly and grew up with Lex Luthor before meeting him for the first time in Metropolis? When he fought crime with young superheroes like himself who he has known forever? When he fought Doomsday for that first time as a lad and didn't die?

    No?

    So I'm a little confused:
If Anna was found as a child by her parents, are all angels babies? But that cant be because she was stationed on earth and oh my goodness I am so confused!

Other than that good episode, and glad we got to see some more crocodile man tears. They are an essential part of the show.

It was my understanding from the episode that the mother couldn't have kids and when she fell she caused a miracle in allowing the mother to carry her as a baby and be reborn as a human.

    Oh fuck

    oh fuck

    (Season 2 Finale Spoilers)
so the gate to Hell got closed back up after being opened up by the now-dead guy with the colt who killed Sam and was the only one left standing (Although Ava was obviously off the deep end after her husband turned up dead, so fuck that bitch).

Also John climbed out of Hell just to give Dean a chance to shoot Satan with the colt, and so now Satan is dead, and John is possibly redeemed.

Holy shit, that was an amazing two episodes. FUCK

That wasn't Satan that was Azazel. John went back to Hell and Sam and Dean are alive but Dean only has 1 year because of the deal he made with the crossroads demon.

I got some kind of screwy disc in my season 2 box. The disc with Tall Tales on it doesn't work. Or, more accurately, Night Shifter works, but the rest of the episodes don't. I was so mad.

    Speaking of tall tales.
I mean, they didn't really explain the means how a trickster is actually killed, and for all the trouble it gave them before it gets staked, it still went down pretty easily considering what they were up against.

No future spoilers, by the way.

Er, that was kind of my point.

For a dude who's been around for probably centuries if not thousands of years, and can conjure up just about anything it could want at any time, he went down way too easy.

that's the trick! he made them think he went down easy, because he was bored and didn't feel like being hunted.

No, I was referring to the episode with the "angel."

The tear-jerker moment being when the priest's spirit realizes he isn't an angel and receives his last rites.

It was a pretty powerful scene.

OOHHHH right, I was wasted when we watched that one. I cried pretty hard at that one, as well. I think my worst crying-my-eyes out was when John turned to Sam in My Time of Dying and was like, "Can... we not fight?" And it was all over for me. At that point, you know he's a goner and the tears just don't stop. What a beautiful and terrible thing to have to say right before you die.
