Tips for my Santa, I suppose:

[spoiler:e1e2f1d4c1]I used to be named Daiquiri on these boards but I got a name change so that might help recognition.

I love Nintendo stuff, you can't go wrong there. So far I'm only getting a Wii with Twilight princess. I also have a DS with only a few games.
I love guitar stuff. I'm a music major now so I really can't get enough music and I enjoy all sorts of it except emo, country, rock, and screaming stuff.
I love random stuff. Something I can't get where I live would rock my boat.
I love photography, so I dunno, something to do with that.

PS. You can get none of this if you want, I don't honestly mind, the creativeness and stuff will really win hard.

PPS. I <3 you whoever you are.

I like all kinds of stuff. Pretty much anything Capcom or Nintendo would be teh rox. I'm not picky, and to see what someone would send a total stranger is kind of exciting.

In other news, I got my Santee, and I'm fucking terrified.

As far as my taste and likes go:

[spoiler:41b12e4d77]man, i love anything and everything. But I absolutely love DS and Gamecube (as far as games). And music in general (genres: jazz, electronic, metal, rock). I'm a frequent lan party goer (call of duty 2, source). umm.. i'm a size medium in everything, lol. I GREATLY appreciate this. also, if all else fails, I have an amazon wish list..: http://www.amazon.com/gp/registry/wishlist/CMSHLNTC9B5V/ [/spoiler:41b12e4d77]

I guess my Santee might be the winner of first gift, as I just sent mine. Said Santee posted little, in very focused areas, which made it pretty easy to realise what his/her tastes were. Coupled with the crapness of NZ shops for interesting things; the interwebs held the answer, so I ordered it today. It isn't eye-openingly original, but it's fun and will be a good present I think.

    For my Santa:
    - Don't be afraid to get me anything that might be possibly rude or offensive, I'm cool with it.
    - If I made a post in a thread, that will almost always mean it is of interest to me.
    - Games-wise, if I wanted it, I've already bought it, so don't buy me a game that you think isn't off-the-wall and niche or something. (I have a 360 and a Mac)

I will be pleased with pretty much anything I get; I love presents, and I love surprises, so do not be scared. I will love you whatever.

Suppose I could do one of these posty things to tip my santa in some possible directions, seeing as how I don't post very often.

I have a PSX, PS2, Xbox and GBA (I think I also have one of the old Gameboys somewhere, but that's kept for nostalgia value, and an emergency blunt object in event of zombpocalypse).

Game wise, I tend to stick to RPGs. Also like strat RPGs. Been playing Disgaea 1, 2 since 2 came out. (Note, I am a FF Whore, chances are if a game is out I have it).

Bookwise, I tend to read a lot of sci-fi/fantasy. If Daywatch is out in time, I would love that book forever. I've also (half-assedly) been looking for a copy of Clive Barker's Hellbound Heart, but no luck yet. Also into reading Lovecraft on occasion.

If you should happen to be into the whole oddly shaped dice scene, I play WarMachine, and could use some infantry for my just started Protectorate force.

    Tee-shirt wise I wear size XX-fatass.

Just some tips to start off with. Should you want to send something odd or off the wall, knock yourself out.

    This will be fun.

To my Santa: I hope I didn't weird you out with my interests part of my profile, but I decided to have some fun. I'm pretty happy with anything I get. If you got me a slime, that's great, but I have more slimes than sense and you usually have to import them. I love Castlevania and Transformers (G1) as well. Pretty much I want a surprise.

My Santee posts a lot here. Thanks in advance!

Note for my gift giving type dude: Don't buy me any games, I already own enough. I do not, however, have enough of the following:

    Nubile virgins.
    Class A narcotics
    Swimming pools filled with cash.

I've never been mailed a box full of 100 dollar bills before.

So if I got some kind of Bill Gatesian type cool dude for a SS, that would make a pretty awsome gift.

I mean... you could fit at least 2 bills in a matchbox right? I wouldn't complain.

    To my Santee:

Howdy! Figuring out my taste in games should be easy enough, given my sig and profile. I have a DS, Cube, PS2 and Xbox... no PSP or 360, but I wouldn't gripe if one of them fell off a truck in my general vicinity. I have my geeky side, so I don't mind game-related swag. I like some anime, mainly the really acclaimed stuff like Cowboy Bebop, Miyazaki flicks, Ghost in the Shell, etc. I'm also a fan of great western animation like the original Batman series, Pinky and the Brain, Wallace and Gromit, etc (though I have most of the DVDs of the above). I most certainly do NOT think books are gay. I wear a large.

But most of all... I'm adventurous and I like surprises! So feel free to ignore my hints. :P

Oh good, I got someone who's well known. And I've always been a fan of his/her (I know, but to keep the mystery, you see) avatars.

And are we posting tips? I don't really know if it's appropriate to do so or not, but hey, Mr. Santa doesn't have to listen to them, I suppose.

I'm a huge fan of DC Comics, I dabble in Marvel, and like illustrated works in general (including animation and such). Gaming, of course, is a rather grand interest of mine (see IGN link in my signature for further info and a wishlist if you're into that sort of thing). And music, I suppose; my favorite bands are Radiohead and Asian Kung-Fu Generation. An interesting mix, I realize.

General, yes, but just thought I'd throw some stuff out there and see what catches.
