I should also maybe mention that my IGN page has wishlists for both games and DVDs. Also, if my Santa goes the way of comics, I would advise against anything Batman, because while I am insanely homosexual for him, I have so many TPBs of Batman that chances of buying me something I already have would be a bit high.

Anyway, yes, I don't mean to get too specific (something surprising is more exciting), but just thought I'd give some helpful nuggets. Of love.

Sorry, I got one of the others 800 people that signed up. But I can send him/her a whole bunch of it so they can take pictures of them drinking it to mock you.

Whoever I have will be getting a bunch of the deadly Tohato Habanero Rings that I sent the winners of this year Art Tournament. Have fun with those.

Do you have a link so us non-japanese speaking people can order some of these, they would be perfect for my office.

Augh, I need more info on my Secret Santa. Post here, post here! :|

    To my Secret Santa:

What I'd really love is anything you like that you'd figure I would, or something I don't have access to here in Canada-land that you find cool. Surprise me! Anything thoughtful and creative would be <3 .

In case you're stumped, though... I have a DS with quite a few games. I'm getting a Wii at launch with Zelda: TP (fingers crossed).

I'm particularly obsessed with the Phoenix Wright series. I've already got the second game and a lot of the artbooks and fanbooks though, so it may be safer to avoid that. I also have a thing for Samus or Metroid stuff (I have the Zero-suit figurine~) and Link or LoZ stuff (surprisingly enough, I don't have much merchandise in this category beyond some t-shirts).

Of course, you don't have to get anything games related. I wear a small/medium female size, reading is fun, I like the DCAU and dabble in anime.

Hey there lucky. I'm looking at you. So you drew the JAEF card did you. Well please don't shit in a box and send it to me. Actually as long as you don't send me anime I think I'll be happy. I am extremely picky with what games I play, but if you're curious I own a GC, horribly broken PS2 with a library of games I can't play (fuck you DREs!), a DS (with 8 not-too-new games) and am primarily a PC gamer. Surprise me, or don't, but I have no requests. Except that you don't shit in a box and send it to me. If you want to send me something you think might be off the wall, as long as it's related to games or technology I'll be happy with it.

Edit: And to my santee: Post more than once a week. Thanks.

To my secret sants....I dunno what to say I have a PS2 DS and 360, I like fighting games, and merchandise related too although more then likely I own any fighting game you would be able to find in stores.

My DS collection is very slim, consisting of NSMB, MMZX, Tetris, Ouendan and Jump Superstars.

    I wear a medium t-shirt.

and I love action figures, and comic books from the marvel universe.

    Dear secret santa:
If you want to get me games, I'm not sure I can recommend anything in the home console department. I only have 3 DS games (Mario Kart, Animal Crossing and Metroid) and 5 GBA games (LOTR, Mario Vs. Donkey Kong, FF:TA and 2 Pokemon games), and I like a lot of different types of games.

Any game related merchandise is cool with me, and as for anime goes, I don't like it.

Like, do I include a note saying, "From astroboy, your PA Santa"?

Or do we still remain anonymous?

Whoever has me, If you're hurting for ideas, check out the link in my sig to my IGN collection. It should give you a feel for the systems/games I have and like.

Also, here are some things I wouldn't mind getting:

    Tetris DS
    Elite Beat Agents
    Clubhouse Games
Capcom Mini Mix Collection (for GBA)
Justice League Unlimited Season 1 (also contains 2) DVD
Transformers: The Movie DVD (the new edition)
A used copy of Cannon Spike for Dreamcast
The SNK vs. Capcom: Chaos strategy guide
Mmm. . . that's all I can think of right now.

But really, I'm sure anything you come up with will be just fabulous.

    My hints for my Santa.

I have way too many games already (See my egamia account's list of what I have...). That's probably not a good idea. If you dig around my links long enough, you'd probably find enough stuff around things like Facebook, my website, my shitty lj blog, my university club, or possibly my Amazon wishlist. That'd probably give you a good hint of things about me.

Question for you all: What if your target don't have an obvious pattern to what could possibily be a good gift for them?

The way I see it, a collections list should only be used to give your santee a general idea about your tastes, and not simply a way to find out what games you don't have yet and buy one for you.

Now, if your santee noticed a big gaping hole in your Final Fantasy collection and knew that you were in fact a fan of the series and that the only reason you don't own Final Fantasy III for the NES is because its so rare to find and you just so happen to know of a copy being sold for $20 at a nearby pawnshop and this is a really atrocious run-on sentence so I'm just going to end it now.

    But you catch my drift.

That said, I don't care if my santee gets me a game or not. I'm still going to post my collection (I'm getting to it!) so that they can get a better idea about the kind of person I am, and make their judgements from there.

Ditto. I probably should just give fair warning to mine - might want to avoid the DS, as I already own well over 20 games for it, and odds are if I want it, I already have it (barring imports). Ditto for Gamecube. But I've gotten next to nothing for my PS2 or PC of late. But I'm far more interested in seeing what they'd come up with outside of the gaming arena.

    Dear Santa,

I love surprises, but if you don't have any idea what to get me or you're afraid I won't like it, here are some potential ideas.

As far as gaming, I have a GC (with freeloader), GBA and DS. Yeah, big Nintendo fan. The games, uh, I don't have a personal database, but I have a lot of GC and GBA games and only 8 DS games. I could send you a list if you'd like. The older consoles are pretty broken, so never mind that. Unless you get me a new one, but that would probably be big on shipping. I don't plan on getting a Wii yet, since, you know.

My shirt size is medium. If you plan on getting me a tee and do a little something for PA, I dunno, this would be pretty cool.

I'm not as big in Transformers as I once was, but if you have some first gen toys lying around in your attic, I wouldn't mind getting it off your hands. TF comics would be cool too, since I've stopped buying Dreamwave comics some time ago for whatever reason and now the company is gone. Last I bought was apparently The War Within #5. Well, shit, that means I still miss #6.

Music is good, my collection is a bit shitty at the moment, so anything you personally like would be okay in my book. I think I'll have to pass on movies though.

Or you could just send me random rubbish from whatever hole you come from I guess.

    Yours truly,

    Chen

PS. I also like money. And Benjamin Franklin. Not books though, they're a bit gay. i'm not very funny i know

The person who has me has quite a conundrum on their hands, as I rarely post about my interests, or at all, and most of it is in Graphic Violence.

Personally, I am a huge Horror fan, but no DVDs please, as anything I wants, I owns, but memorabilia/action figures/t-shirts (X-Large) of the ilk of Horror would be ten tons of awesome. Ten. Tons.

Games would be impossible to pick for me because I pretty much buy everything I want the day it come out, regardless of whether it is a good idea or not.

Also, I am feeling mighty generous, so my Santee will be getting a box full of fun.

Man, my Santa must hate my posting habits. I'm hoping this post may make things a bit easier.

I'm pretty happy with the games I have for my Gamecube, PS2, and DS. Unless you could find something rare and quirky like Rez or Ouenden you may as well avoid current gen games all together.

I'm getting a Wii this month, but the only launch game I'll be getting is Zelda. If there's some other Wii game you're sure I'd love if I only gave it the chance, feel free to get me it if you want to splurge.

Onto more realistically priced gifts. I'm a comic reader, so a TPB would be great. I'm a big Warren Ellis fan, and I think the latest X-Factor run is really great. If you'd rather get me a traditional book, I've been wanting to read Thus Spoke Zarathustra.

Really, anything funny and quirky would warm the cockles of my cold heart. My sense of humor deviates towards the absurd.

A follow up to my previous post about my Santa.

a)I do not own many games for the 360 or the Gamecube. I own quite a few for my PS2 however, don't bother getting me something for the PC - I probably have it.

    GC games owned:
    SSBM
    Super Mario Sunshine
    Metroid Prime
    Viewtiful Joe
    Donkey Konga
    Wind Waker
    Tales of Symphonia

    360 games owned:
    CoD2
    PDZ (bleugh)
    Just Cause (bleugh)
    Oblivion
I *don't* have Gears of War and that'd be an absolutely awesome present

But I would also absolutely adore my Santa if they were to get me a One Piece Portrait of Pirates figure; beyond that ANYTHING One Piece related gets my vote.

Something funny would be another great gift, I like to laugh. Surprise me.

Alright well just in case for my santa, since I only have 2 posts previously:

I have a PS2, but I only play guitar hero(1/2) on it. I will have a 360 eventually, but that's probably sometime next year. I do mostly PC Gaming, I love reading, and I'm not much of a movie watcher.

I have a fairly extensive book collection but it's mostly what I'd consider mainstream authors. GRRM, Modesitt, Goodkind, etc.

    Oh! OH!

I just moved out of my parents for the first time a few months back. Maybe that info can spur your creative juices.

I'm not a prude so if you want to get me something 'interesting' I'd be ok with that too.

I like being surprised so I won't offer any specific wishes.

This is a lot of fun, thankfully my Santee posts more than I do though!
