Well, turns out this isn't exactly selling like hotcakes because of a devoted fan base.
Scanning through some gaming blogs and message boards out there...there are indeed people bragging how they bought multiple copies and going to resell for 100+ dollars. I appreciate that atlus may have good motives but this really only helped fuel the fires for resellers to screw the legit fans into paying a godly amount for a new copy.
Very hard to decide how to review.
Gothic midevil noir with Lovecraftian demons
Music is fantastic by a here-to-now unknown composer.
Loading times are a non-issue as long as you turn off the battle animations.
Battles tend to take a long time
Essential information can be hidden beneath too many menus.
Uses a similar story system to Suikoden 3 & Odin Sphere (multiple viewpoints of the same timeline)
Conclusion:
"Now, let me be clear: I certainly didn't hate the game's combat and exploration -- I enjoyed crafting a party to exploit the Majin's weak points, loved navigating the labyrinthine dark domain of Besek, and the intriguing story definitely kept me going -- I just wish the whole thing had been a helluva lot easier to manage. In the end, did Eternal Poison frustrate me countless times? Absolutely. Does it include inexcusable, easily fixable design flaws? Certainly. But its haunting style and twisted atmosphere also inspired emotions that'll stick with me for a long time to come -- and that's precisely why we play games, isn't it?"
Wow, the reprint for Persona 2 is already sold out!? It was available for what, an hour?
In other news, I just received an email from Atlus saying that they're releasing My World, My Way (The World Revolves around Me in Japan) for the DS. Apparently it's an RPG/God game parody.
Innocent Sin or The Answer?
(I've technically already beaten P3, but the promise of more Elizabeth dates keeps me going through The Journey version.)
Elizabeth dates are pretty entertaining.
So are the control room scenes.

If by a certain point(I'm thinking with 10 days left or so) I haven't beaten Journey, I'll probably just shift to focusing on the Answer so at least I'll have seen the story through.
Wait. EP was reprinted? I own EP, somewhere, but getting a second copy would be nice. Where can I pick it up? CastleQuest?
EP was reprinted on amazon for $40, but from the look of things, it sold out after about an hour or two. You can always check back occasionally; they might get more copies.

Some more copies just became available on Amazon. Get 'em now!

Agh, I'd be all over that if I hadn't signed up for Secret Santa.

Ahaha, Atlus is determined to keep this thing running, aren't they?
"Look under your seats, everyone! YOU get a copy of EP! YOU get a copy of EP! And you! And you! ...not you, scalper."
I must have died ten times to the first boss in Empyrean before I finally managed to take it down. At least half of those deaths were directly attributable to Yukari casting Wind Break instead of healing me like she's supposed to.

The first serious challenge I had was in Caina, and the second boss is giving me just as much trouble.
Also:
I expect the difficulty to P4 will be through the roof to compensate for having full control of the party.
Is it still instant game over if the protagonist dies?

It's back again.
Okay, this is just confusing.
After the Muses situation:
And this game shows that Maya has some serious issues she's been keeping under the radar.
Oh, and I found the most hilariously broken Fusion spell ever.
Pegasus Combo: Garu + Sonic Punch. 267 damage. Killed a boss in four castings.
You have no fucking idea.
No, really. Trust me on this. No idea.

And My World, My Way looks like it could be hilarious, if the writing's as good as the email promo, but the gameplay doesn't look as appealing.

Hell, just watch The Answer on YouTube. It's not worth playing.

At least Fuuka's VA is a vast improvement(even though it's the same person O_o).
Either it's because of better direction or she got more accustomed to the role.
Shame her battle clips are the same.
Some of them are different.
If nothing else, Aigis has the best anti-shadow weapon for dungeon crawling. All the range of the bow, none of the slowness.
That ending was...I, uh...Hm.
Really glad I ordered Eternal Punishment.

Aeria forums to the rescue.
I'm up to the second boss of Caina.
Because they all have fucking evade skills
