Getting ink out of my favorite long-sleeve tee and hoodie.

A blue pen exploded in my pocket yesterday. My hand got most of it, but some of the ink managed to get on what I was wearing, a beige tee and brown hoodie.

Is there any way I can salvage these items through super-special cleaning? Could a dry-cleaner do it, if I can't?

I spilled aircraft rotor grease all over one of my flight suits today. (about a dollar bill sized splotch) If I wash it in my home washing machine will the grease Remain in the washer or Am I ok to use it again without worry.

(obviously washing it alone not with other clothes.)

I didn't want to make a new thread.

I don't think it would stay in your washer, but you could always run a cycle immediately after to wash out any remnants and then inspect the machine afterwards.

Anyone with advice on my problem?

Hair spray generally does a pretty good job of removing ink.

If it was just a regular bic pen then the ink should be water soluble. If it was a special pen, like a fountain pen, or one of those pens with gel ink or some other kind of weird ink... good luck, because its probably not coming out.
