If you're not using a play and charge, or at the very least a set of rechargeables, get yourself one of these items. If my controller dies in the middle of a game it's a maximum of five seconds before I'm reconnected and ready to go.

I don't have any batteries so no 360 for me until I can find some.

You see, this is why everyone should keep a wired controller handy.

    That's too bad though.

wired controller died a few months ago.

Depends on how much money I get this by this weekend, plan on getting a play and charge kit but want Dead Space too.

    wireless is surprisingly lighter

So... my wireless controller has ceased to be wireless.

The Play and Charge battery won't. I have yet to test with the battery pack, but this is the Halo 360 - is the controller covered in the warranty?

New batteries are like 12$ at Gamestop. I thought my controller fucked up and it was just a dead P&C battery.

The wireless -is- heavier than the wired, although both of them are light.

Hey, I prefer the heavier feel than that of the PS3's controller. That thing feels like it'll break if dropped or held too tight. If only the launch ones had rumble, it might've been heavier...

I'll be getting on Halo later tonight, I just wasn't up for it yesterday. Just need to win two more Social Skirmishes for 7 on 7.

i'm pretty sure the battery pack adds quite a bit to the weight of the wireless

but yeah it's a small difference most people don't notice

Know what's an amazingly light controller these days? The N64 controller. Picked one up the other day and man that thing is like a feather.

Heh, I still recall my sister holding the N64 pad with one hand on the D-pad and another on the joystick. Despite her first-hand experience with how difficult it is to use the buttons that way, she still persisted for a while.

I'm not sure I like the weight of the PS3 controller - I've got one of the DualShock 3's, and its pretty obvious all the weight is balanced towards the top of the controller. I don't like feeling as if the remote's gonna slip out of my hands if I don't have a death grip on it.

Except, I pretty much only use it as a blu-ray player, so...

I did this not long ago. Then I plugged a Rumble pack into one. It like it gained 8lbs.

Also, somehow last night I dodged a rocket from Primus in close quarters

the only explanations are that on the host's box, it went between my legs or my legs just barely pulled themselves over, or the act of lunging at him with the sword made me 'skip' past it in the frames.

Leitner don't be asking people to come and and play with you. I joined your party and sat there for almost 5 listening to this weird whistling/hissing sound, like a tea kettle or something. I finally gave up and dropped back out.

I forget what it was exactly, but Thrill should've been wise enough to not post his Bungie Card here if he was on a sneaking mission.

Actually, the Xbox -does- only store about 3-4 title updates. Any more games than that and it'll delete the oldest one.
