I want a new haircut, I've had the same astoundingly generic cut for too long.

    How much work are you willing to put into it each morning? That's going to be a big factor in what people may advise.

    Well, what general ideas did you have? Do you want to go super short because there's actually a surprising amount of 'short' styles out there. How much are you willing to shell out?

    But my immediate response would be... what you have, just shorter/trimmed/made 'nicer'
