That other thread is an eyesore. Just seeing Katchem_Ash's name on it pains me.

Your mom is a pretty classy lady.
Cless would have sex with her.
Stahn might, but he'd have absolutely no idea what he's doing.
Reid would too, but only for the omelets.
Kyle could try, but he's only marginally smarter than his dad.
Lloyd would, but only because it's Dwarven Vow #8.
Veigue would, but nobody has any idea who he is.
Senel might, but he has so many STDs by this point that he should be under quarantine.
Luke wouldn't. He prefers cock.
Ruca probably would, but if your mom let him, she'd be nailed for statuatory rape.
Yuri would
wreck that bitch.

The
Tales of Series is an RPG series developed by Namco with 18 games, spanning nearly 15 years and at least 8 game systems... even more if you count cell phone nonsense. The selling point is the linear motion battle system, a beat 'em up engine that allows the player(s) to control one or more members of the party in an action sequence while the rest of the party fights relatively autonomously. It was first in two dimensions, and now in all three (wow!).
Every Tales game must include at least 90% of the following:
- Male swordsman lead who uses Demon Fang
- Annoying female white mage love interest
- The following elementals: Undine/Celsius, Volt, Ifrit, Gnome, Sylph, Shadow, Rem/Luna, Origin, and Maxwell
- Villain motivated by racism
- A girl who can't cook
- A guy who is an expert cook
- Time Travel
- Hot springs
- Some kind of magical power/device that almost destroyed the world thousands of years ago
- A joke weapon for each character
- Something horribly wrong with the world map
- An optional battle against PCs from a previous Tales game

Nobody cares about the Tales of the World games. They're silly cameofests anyway. For whatever reason, Tales of the Tempest was also kicked out of the 'main' group and relegated to hang out with the Tales of the World subseries. Tales of Symphonia 2: Knight of Ratatosk is also part of the 'non-main' (whatever the fuck that means) series and is due out November 11th in the US for the Wii, and is already out in Japan.
HAVE AT YOU, MOTHERFUCKERS.

One of them has a belly shirt, stuffed animal, thinks girls are icky, and lets little boys accessorize for him.
The other is Cless.
Wow, way to walk into a topic and scar me.
3DS: 1607-3034-6970
Actually an early screenshot from Symphonia 2, not Rebirth. The character's clearly Emil.
Thank god someone finally did though. The series deserved a good OP on PA, even if its fans are scarce.
Rebirth forever.
Grade 'em.
With stars, if possible.
Vesperia left me hanging, wanting more with no more game left. This shall fill the void nicely.
Yeah Id say so, although IU really has an awesome combat system, the story was pretty good...
Vesperia on the other hand has an amazing combat system, amazing story, awesome characters and the length of a horses cock. Really. This game took me 130 hours to beat. And am currently going through again. (well...was...then my friend borrowed it and hasnt given it back yet, damn him..)
That's Dwarven Vow #7
I am currently playing through IU and while I enjoy the game, ToV is definitely superior.
And then I had to go ahead and buy ToV off of eBay and it's been almost two weeks now
At least it should be arriving tomorrow.
Also, the OP made me bust out laughing, especially the Lloyd part.
Well, I also own Abyss. That should probably take priority.
The only reason I even took an interest in the series was because Kousuke Fujishima was involved.
Destiny is horrible. HORRIBLE. Do not play it. It will give you a disease, and not one of the cool ones like awesomeitis.
Also, Tales of Hearts should probably be added to the OP.
I want to play Vesperia, but I don't have a 360
Which Tales game should I play next?
Oh, Phantasia rocked.
You go buy yourself a 360 and have your mom wrecked by Yuri in Vesperia, DO IT.
Well...your following choices are
Eternia...if you have a PSP or are willing to be ripped off by the interwebs.
Legendia...though opinions of it are pretty mixed.
Abyss, if you have a PS2.
And doing what Mastrius said and getting a 360 for Vesperia.
And...never played Destiny before so I don't know and I've forgotten of Phantasia got re-released.
The DS is also an option, by the way.

I shall reply the way I always reply.
"Tales of Eternia"
*returns to the abyss*
Yeah, fuck that dungeon. I lucked out and ran into Gnome fairly quickly, and I left after that without a second thought. I'm usually anal about getting every treasure chest in a dungeon before I leave. Now I'm on indefinite hiatus from the game after getting to another stupid dungeon where I have to navigate 12 mazes and find the same two items in each one of them. Tedium.
That's what you have online FAQs for my friends.
Assuming you mean Destiny 2 and not Eternia, I didn't really like what I played (which admittedly wasn't much). They added what basically amounts to a stamina bar, and you aren't allowed to do specials or even attack if it gets too low. It recovers by blocking or just sort of standing around. Some things (like backstepping) deplete it, so... you can't even evade that well without using it up. That means that the battles require a lot more relying on the AI while you stand and watch for a second or two waiting for your stamina to recharge.
The story was a fair bit of clusterfuck time travel nonsense too... so... whatever. The best thing it did was bring Leon back and put him in a game that doesn't suck.
Oh Cam Clarke, every time I watch Flip That House I imagine it's really Kratos explaining everything.
That in itself is pretty disappointing
The game looks like crap, too. And the hi-ougis are very disappointing

Noob. The manual clearly states that Repede doesn't actually smoke, he only holds the pipe as a memento of his former master. pffft.
