I picked up my first Mighty Mugg today. It was a Venom that was inexplicably at a Target. I guess it was one of those things that was found in the warehouse after a few months and then just put out on the shelf, unless there was a revision wave or something I dunno.

Anyway, he looks pretty cool but I don't see any reason to take take him out of the box. I think I'll get that Deadpool one if it gets released. Maybe some others if I see them on clearance, but I kinda doubt it since I've passed on some of the Transformer ones that have been on clearance. Maybe if it's like 50% or more off...well, either way.

That one's alright...Hot Toys' Begins suit from their Dark Knight line is fucking amazing though, and blows Medicom's all to hell.

However, Medicom obliterated Hot Toys' Dark Knight suit offering. I got mine in a couple weeks back.

That Batman Begins figure to the right is amazing, especially the cape.
    That Joker is also nice.

Goddamn action figures, why do you cost so much?
I'll only enjoy the pictures, I can't spend that much money on those. :P

But then I'd actually have to buy that, so...unless you're willing to donate...?

But yeah, not buying that piece of junk. Even if that big Deadpool is a floppy, poorly articulated mess, it at least looks like Deadpool.

I'd donate, but then I remembered that they are 8 DOLLARS for a tiny, poorly painted, crappy toy.

I finally broke down and got Hot Toys' Harvey Dent/Two-Face figure. I was on the fence about him forever, but I figured why the hell not. Turns out, he's a lot better in person than in figures. I'm completely happy with him. Pics in the spoiler tags.

Lucky you :( I have an issue.

The flip-up head is really great to me, and I didn't take pictures of the bust that came with it either. I think as a whole I like MK 2 better than 3.

I really like the paint on the MK 2, mainly the detailing around all the little bolts and stuff on the armor. I know it's probably the exact same sculpt, but it just "pops" more, I guess. Easier to see all the cool stuff when it's that color.

The rivets are palpable, so it's a modified sculpt, not really a repaint. The bust that it came with for the extra head is really nice, as is the heart box, which also lights up.

I don't know but whatever it is it isn't actually in the package. A slight dampener on an otherwise excellent purchase.

Colleator pin or no colleator pin, it does at least contain a genuine piece of string for Spadey to swing from.

    Spader-Man, Spader-Man,
    Does whatever James Spader can.
    Spins a yarn, any size,
    Catches crabs, just not flies.
Look out, here comes a Spader-Man.
    Is he strong? Listen, bud,
    He's got whiskey-active blood.
Can he swing, from a thread?
Take a look on that bed.
Hey there, there goes a Spader-Man.
In the chill of night, at the scene of a crime,
Like a streak of light, cops arrive, just in time.
    Spader-Man, Spader-Man,
    Beligerent Neighborhood Spader-Man.
    Wealth and fame, still ignored.
    Shatner took his reward.
To him, life is a great big bang up,
    Whenever there's a wang up,
    You'll find the Spader-Man.
Watch out, here comes a Spader-Man.

Very nice. I hadn't made the James Spader leap. I was thinking more in terms of The Shoveller from Mystery Men. Ditch Digger Spader-Man, Vegetable Garden Spader-Man, etc.

Also, are the two on the outsides the same figure? The one in the middle has different hands and looks like he has some sort of suction cup web thing but the two on the left and right look the same to me.

The two on the outside are different to the one on the inside. The one on the inside's arms are immobile. He is permanently rocking out. There are no suction caps but I can see some kind of slits in Spadey's wrists which I assume are to attach the piece of string accessory.

There are also some random bits of red plastic included (either side of the middle figure, and on the top left hand side of the box), which I think must be to attach to the piece of string. I would open the box and explore the functionality of the set further, but obviously I want to keep it mint.

Picked up two Convoy figs yesterday. The first is the Alternity Nissan GT-R Vibrant Red Convoy. Basically a smaller (Deluxe-sized) version of the Alternators line. Lots of die-cast, lots of awesome.

Not bad. I have the Venom Mighty Mugg because I like Venom. I don't see any remove to take him out of the box, nor do I plan on getting any more.

I have that Deadpool too, and while I do like the looks and have heard good things about those lines, I don't really like that scale too much. Plus I have way too 6" figures as it is. Though at least Marvel Legends aren't quite dead yet, as they're supposed to be revealing more about the upcoming 2-packs at comicon.

I'm an avid Transformers collector, so I (basically) have three of those four. I don't collect FABs though, and I got enough of the BB mold from the first movie. Nice gets om the Alternity and Nike Convoys as well, cr0w. I've wanted both of those but their cost kind of prohibits me for now.

Expect something...eh, possibly interesting from me on monday, providing it actually gets here.
