I found a decent Harley the other day. The blue on the face wasn't that noticeable. Granted, it wasn't the best, but it looks good sitting next to all of my Joker figures.

New star wars comic packs made their way into stores recently. They have Luke with Reborn Emperor and another Quinlan figure.

Well sure, if i wanted to reward people for scalping them off store shelves in the first place. It's not even a gas money vs. convenience thing for me that i could use to justify it, i can't reconcile paying some jerkass $20 for buying and reselling something that i should be able to go to the store and get for $10. I'd buy it online from an actual toy retailer at a premium, but only as a last resort. Never ebay, not for something new.

Plus as many paint job complaints as i hear concerning this line, i'd rather not have something i paid out the ass for show up all drippy.

And anyway, it's now thankfully a moot point! Aggressive hunting by the wife and i yielded Aquaman, Harley Quinn, and Artemis over the last two days. Harley's even got good paint, the blue isn't at all over the top and the lines on her costume are ridiculously clean. So my Grodd is complete (and awesome, i might add), and i'm all caught up for now except the Wal-Mart wave.

That's the thing. I wouldn't have linked it normally, because I figured you'd think that way, but there were a few buy it now figures for 10 bucks.

    Glad you got Grodd regardless.

I'm missing both left limbs of Grodd. I sort of want to finish him, just because it would be the first BAF I've ever completed on my own. Metallo is 100X cooler-looking, though.

Ah, sorry man. I'm so used to being so pissed with ebay that while i clicked the links, i guess i didn't look hard enough to see any that had a $10 buy it now.

And Lux, I'm gonna try to get a couple pictures up tomorrow. I've gotta rearrange the shelves a bit first, and the lighting in my toy room is pretty terrible at night for photography purposes.

Holy crap, i went into Wal-Mart tonight to pick up a wok and decided to take a glance at the toy section...found Riddler and Eradicator just sitting on a peg in the Marvel section with no tag or anything. Sooo...now i don't know what to think. I picked 'em up, but my run on these lately has left me unable to go out hunting for the other three until next week. At least there's some hope though, i guess. :)

I want some of these so bad, it's stupid. Not only the Marvel ones, but the GI Joe's and Transformers look great as well.

Unfortunately getting them shipped from the states to my house, costs more in shipping than the Muggs do. I'd have to buy 2 complete waves from the same ebay seller, to make it remotely interesting.

Anyone know any good international sellers for these Mighty Muggs, who don't charge an arm and a leg for shipping to Europe?

Amazon UK does quite a few of them, though mostly Star Wars with a few Marvel. Forbidden Planet International is another option, they'll ship from the UK at cost.

Hello chaps and possibly chapettes. Today I acquired on clearance a couple of Marvel Legends figures, and since I was on a long drive I decided to start to compile a list of Legends figures from Marvel and, uh, whatever that Legends equivalent from DC that is out now that I've seen in Target and like nowhere else.

My list is mainly comprised of characters that I'd buy that I don't think have figures, though there are some I know have figures that I might get eventually. But what I'd like from anyone is suggestions on characters I may have forgotten about.

    Marvel:
    Amadeus Cho w/ Kirby
    Wolfsbane
    New Drax
    Starlord
    Groot w/ Rocket Raccoon
Taskmaster (he probably has a figure actually, I have to look that up)
    New Ant-Man
    Mercury
    Molly
    Karolina

    DC:
    Ambush Bug
    Booster Gold
    Blue Beetle (Ted & Jaime)
    Guy Gardner
    Swamp Thing
    Jack Knight Starman
    Linda Danvers Supergirl, second iteration
Jimmy Olsen with one or more of those powers he's had

There's probably more I just can't think of them right now!

Guy's had two figures that I've seen so far, and Blue Beetle & Booster Gold are both coming in the new JLE sets this year. (Although, I think both have been released previously- Ted and Jamie).

Taskmaster had a figure in...i think...wave 12 or so of Marvel Legends. Whatever the "Legendary Riders" series was where they crammed a bunch of stupid flying contraptions in with characters that never used them.

Booster Gold and Blue Beetle are both coming up a couple waves from now in the DC Universe Classics line. Expect getting them to be like pulling teeth. Or more like getting your teeth pulled, i suppose.

Well, I know they've all had figures before from different DC toy lines, but I'm limiting this to the, now that I look it up, DC Universe 6" parts figures line. I also see that I guess the next wave will have Booster and Ted, like you said, so that's great.

Oh, Vigilante is in the next wave after that. Not bad. Oh, I should add Jonah Hex to my list. And Sgt. Rock. And Haunted Tank as a BAF.

Yeah, I just looked up everything that's come out and he was in Wave 11 in that series. I'll have to look for him elsewhere I guess.

Oh yes, I know all about toy hunting and scalpers due to my collecting Transformers, but hopefully I'll have enough hookups and such so that I can get them. I also remembered that I'd get the Batman Beyond figure from the new DCU wave if I saw it, but despite seeing all the other figures from that wave at this one Target, no dice for him. Not surprising though.

He was a disappointing figure. He was way too buff for the character, and looked like an Ed McGuinness DC direct sculpt. I think the problem may have been related to them reusing a Captain Atom sculpt for the majority of the figure.

That won't show up for me so maybe? But it's this one, the main picture in her wiki. I liked PAD's Supergirl a lot and I like that design for her better than the first one that was just the Matrix Supergirl design.
