Are there comic and movie versions of Rorschach?

Aren't they the same thing? I don't know if they are making movie action figures AND comic figures or if the figures out now are all they have planned.

I thought there was a movie and a comic series. I remember seeing something in a Previews a while back but it might have been the 1/6 figures.

Yeah, Marvel Legends Deadpool. Let me tell you, this is a pretty great figure right here.

    DP2.jpg

Plenty of weapons you can swap out, great articulation.

    DP3.jpg

The balance doesn't suck, and hey, he's Deadpool.

    DP4.jpg

He also has an alternate head you can swap out.

    DP5.jpg

And now Doop has a new hat.

    DP6.jpg

    No stand, but eh.

That's pretty nice. I've always been a big fan of the Marvel Legends line of figures, at least the older sets. One of these days I'll get around to getting Deadpool.

Yeah, it kind of sucks how the new figures have less accessories than some of the old figures. Like Deadpool has all those weapons and Doop, and I just picked up a Green Goblin which comes with a bomb bag and a glider with a stand, plus the comic and BAF piece. Plus I got a loose Maestro Hulk for free.

And you might know already but be prepared to give up a lot of cash for Deadpool. I got that one there for $30 + shipping, but I'd expect to pay more, especially if it did come with the stand.

Yeah the expensive tag that comes with Deadpool is what keeps from getting him. A few years ago I found quite a deal at WizardWorld and managed to get Gambit + the entire set of the Sentinel BAF series - Spiderman for 100 even. I thought that was a pretty good deal in all honesty. I had to shell out 25 for Spidey, which sucked because the only reason I wanted him was to complete the BAF. Really I'm not sure if that's as good of a deal as I make it out to be in my head, but I got Gambit and Omega Red (he was part of the series) so really I was fairly happy. And a huge ass sentinel that gets placed in random locations because he just doesn't really fit anywhere.

Picked up a Modern Nite Owl today from the new DC Direct line.

Apparently getting a Rorschach is going to be pretty difficult, as it's (understandably) the hottest figure.

Also those WoW figures look awesome, especially that Ghoul.

Fin Fang Foom BAF, yes. I actually ended up getting all the figures as well.

    FFF3.jpg

Gaze into the face that came with a fairly crappy She-Hulk figure and despair!

    FFF2.jpg

Thrill as Foom and Hulk offer up a dramatic confrontation!

    FFF4.jpg

Deadpool hops on for a ride but all Foom wants to do is pick his teeth and scratch his butt.

Not pictured: Machine Man in Foom's stomach.

I got lucky with my Deadpool figure. Local mall had some collectors with tables setup in the food court and someone had the figure. I guess the owner or someone mispriced it cause when the guys son or something looked at it he commented that he thought it be more. But I got it for a flat 15 bucks which was nice. Also got an opened Dr. Doom on his throne for pretty cheap as well :D

Swap meets probably best chance to find em for the cheap.

I think I'd dig the shield more. I mean, the Iron Man is cool, but in the end, he's still a toy. You have a metal Captain America shield. How heavy is it? What's the hardest substance you think you could throw it into full force from about 10 feet away and have it not totally break?

It's pretty sturdy. I don't think I could fight crime with it...

Thank you! It's the Kotobukiya Fine Art Statue, about 13 inches tall (the Sentry is a Marvel Legends figure for comparison). I picked it up from Forbidden Planet for the equivalent of about $50 off, and I love it so.

The battery cover is wonky (if you keep it on the LEDs won't work) but who cares?

A while back I saw pictures of someone's collection room. Nothing but shelves, filled with EVERY FUCKING TOYBIZ LEGEND (variants, comic book variants, gold Wolverine, etc). All the Hasbro ones up until then too, but who cares about those. All mint in box. And they had every BAF and variant displayed too. It was beautiful.

I was really disappointed with them. They come apart easily, and the plastic is of a kind of flimsy quality. And they turned out to be much smaller than I had thought. Mainly because I had a Mr. T and some Star Trek figures of the same design that were like 3" tall and much better before getting a mini-mate.
