Rock am Ring info

Right, long story short is that we have to do a project for German class. Wacken was taken, so I have to do mine on Rock am Ring. I've been trying to find info on the festivals, but I really cannot find anything about it that isn't copy pasted from Wiki. 99% of what's on Google is just bootlegs and tickets.

Does anyone know anywhere that I can find info, or does anyone have any themselves? This doesn't count as doing my homework for me since I still have to write up the damn thing and then translate it into German. :P

Dunno what you have to write about, the site of the festival usually has a short write-up about the history of the festival as well.

Basically, we just need to write about anything to do with it and be able to present it and talk about it in German. I'm thinking about the types of music played there, the history, mentioning the famous bands that have played there, what it's like there and other waffley stuff. It's more about getting us writing about something we actually care about, and like I said, Wacken was taken about about 20 other people are doing German footie

Then why don't you just use the Wiki entry, grab a few articles from a newspaper or music zine or site and maybe look up a blog or two? I think you're overthinking it.

Yeah, I'm just worried since this is actually really important. This counts towards our Leaving Cert, which determines if we get into college or not, so I'm bricking it about this.

Rock Am Ring seems HUGE from what videos I've seen of it. Oceans of people and pretty much all of my fav bands have played there at one time or another. I'd kill to go to it one year.
