As you may well know, Google has done the expected and made a browser (Very good move on their part). I've tried it out on the school computers, and I think it is the best Browser I have ever tried....EVER. But I noticed with much annoyance that it isn't available on Macs. What do you guys think? Should the Mac get Chrome. Personally I think so, and it's a shame it isn't happening. then again, it is in the Beta...

Better Tha Firefox? I currently use the fox, and it's working well.
I think it's much better. I like the speed of it, the built-in gestures, speed dial, and just the general UI/functionality of it better then firefox. It doesn't have the same amount of add-ons and widgets as firefox, but I don't use them so it doesn't bother me.
Both are great browsers though.
oh, and it has adblock built right in.

It also doesn't have the memory footprint that Firefox does, which is a plus for those of us with shit computers. I'm liking it a lot so far.

I've found that Firefox performs more speedily in general, which is a plus because the memory isn't a huge issue for me. Additionally, Opera combines what is, for me, an overabundance of default options (the built-in gestures comes along with the sidebar and more stuff), an irritatingly restrictive bar customization system, and quite possibly the most horrifyingly ugly default theme I've ever seen on a browser. And I don't recall seeing a whole ton of attractive themes.

I really hope that Chrome comes to OSX, just as soon as it is out of beta.
opera is the superior mac browser though.

I don't believe there are any add-ons at all yet, because they are not supported yet.
there will be, they just don't exist yet.
You could always play with your host file, that will get some of the more annoying stuff. If you really want to use chrome.
