Everyone on Vent pronounces "Charvanek" starting with a "ch" sound like "charred". Personally, I think of it as "sh" like "shard". Probably because one of my sister's names starts with "Ch" pronounced "Sh".
When looking at your SS's, I always pronounced your name as "Shar-nevek" in my head.
Besides, people did take T3 gear into Karazhan at the start, except that they were 70s wearing T3, not 60s wearing T3. The fact you needed a flying mount to attune at that point screened all of those out.
Actually, people took T3 gear all the way to Illidan: the first Chinese guild to down Illidan, The Seven, had quite a few people wearing T3 pieces in their Illidan killshot.
Were that actually their main pieces of gear, or were they just wearing them for shits and giggles?
Well, they got from level 60 to killing Illidan in 52 days, so I'm guessing it was their actual gear.
eh warhammer was a bust for me. tried it for three weeks got to level 14 on my witch hunter and then started thinking about leveling a rogue on wow. Then sigheth, I'm back and hiding from my guild so they don't make me heal something. LOL. Although, doing some of the 25man raids is awsome, did ssc for the first time the other night. 25 man healing is so much fun .
Absolute Hate: On 3.0 or whatever it was for WoW that introduced the new specs, I turned on my puter, started patching, and went to take a shower. Got out, when I left the room bathroom, I smelled burning... knew it couldn't be good, and oh look at that, somehow (I'm guessing the fan died or something) my chip and
mobo are fried!
Oh wells, one small trip to newegg and I'll have that taken care of, except then the very next day; Birth Control is up for my fiance, her car has a blow out so we have to buy new tires. My cars licensing is up, so I have to blow another 200 on that, power and heat bill arrives and has bone up, even though we haven't even kicked on our heat yet!
Fuck, every damned thing possible keeping me from WoWin' it up is happening one after the other. Currently, if nothing else stupid happens. It'll be 3 weeks before I can order the damned parts
Wow, remind me to never complain about anything again. Wait, never mind...
Hate: About to pull M'uru. "SERVER SHUTDOWN IN 15:00" ... two seconds later ... "SERVER SHUTDOWN IN 3:00" ... Awesome. This better fix some of that latency!

It led to a pretty epic finish for the Kara run I was on. I think we were running up the spiral staircase to Prince when the 3 minute warning came up, pulled him at 1:45, and got the nathrezim mindblade and hero helm distributed (but maybe not the farstrider wildcloak) just before the server went down.

SERVER SHUTDOWN IN 15:00 for Doomhammer just now. It lasted 15 minutes at least.
Of course I was in the middle of Strathlome at the time.
The guy was a hunter who had a Ravager and used it with 100% seriousness.
I mean the axe off Herod and not the bugger with four legs and a crazy torso.
Guys melee hunters are totally viable for everything.
*chortle*
The best thing ever was still this conversation on Vent our first time in Kara. "You need to bandage yourself." "I can't." "Yes you can, I believe in you." "No, I really can't." *sudden silence* *laughter*
He never trained First Aid. As a Hunter, he went from 1-70 without First Aid saying he didn't need it. We repeatedly told him he would need it for raiding. Then we all forgot about it until that moment.
I kinda wish bandages went a little further, or healed a percentage of your health to keep them scaling. Heavy Netherweave Bandages were bloody fantastic for topping myself up in the early 60's, but when you're running around with 16000HP they start feeling pretty insignificant.

No, none of those ring a bell?
Sure is French words adapted into the English language around here. :P
On another note, I saw some faggot with the "Ambassador" title.
My god that shit is hot. I want it so bad.
<Ambassador Slaide> Yes please.
Time to grind 10,000 AV's for blood turn-ins.
I got that. Don't worry too much about AV, just clear out all the starter quests of every race (they give large piles of rep), use Wowhead to find the rest of the 250-and-up rep lowbie quests, and then top it off with some Runecloth.

Undead: Do Deathknell, Brill, finish off any quests around in Tirisfal Glades, then head to the Sepulcher and do however many Silverpine Forest quests you need. I got about halfway through Silverpine and was done with Undercity.
Orgrimmar/Darkspear: Do the Valley of Trials, Durotar, and head to The Barrens if necessary.
Silvermoon: Since you're doing this on your rogue, I guess, check Ghostlands and Eversong Woods and make sure you did every single available quest there. I know I skipped a lot of them.
Sad: Outland instances still fubared, still have not been able to go into BT or MH since the patch.
Happy: Got our AQ40 achievement done. Got my bug mount, and discovered that on twin emps I can tank either emp (just have to be creative positioning the melee damage one so that when he switches I'm up against the wall to avoid the knockback).
Amused: Got to see the "lets everybody rush C'thun and ohgodeyebeams" wipe.
Happy: Cairne, Sylvanas, and Lothremar down last night. The resistance we encountered Monday night had all but vanished. Guess the people got their City Defender achievements and just didn't care anymore. Tonight we'll go back and do Cairne and Sylvanas again, for the opposite raids as last night, and then a majority of both guilds involved will have black bear mounts (I still need Thrall, bah). Cairne was actually really easy, with a surplus of tanks. Sylvanas was a pain in the ass, just because she likes to port and shoot people. That took a good 20 minutes.
you've never known the glory of the bubble bandage
Heh, seriously. Especially as you can level FA way higher than your actual health bar requires, so one or two ticks at lower levels would heal me to full.
To be fair I never leveled FA on my druid until I started raiding, because I was like "I have healing spells, I don't need that!" but it's just useful sometimes.
I've got 375 first aid on all of my characters, and feel that the expense is easily justified by the number of times I've pulled someone's (often my own) chestnuts out of the fire with a timely bandage during a silence, or when I'm out of mana, or when I know it's going to be a LONG fight and I just want to top someone off while regen'ing mana.
It's not something you're necessarily going to use every day, but as pointed out, it's better to have it and not need it, then to need it and not have it.

Hate: I suck at affliction. I mean, I know I CAN do it, I was affliction through most of tier 5 content, which wasn't any easier than 3.0+ affliction (add Haunt, but Corruption is often refreshed without player action). Affliction is one of the harder DPS specs to play, but I USED to do competitive DPS with it. I'm just a mess now though. Between not having raided for a month or so and suddenly having to juggle five or six spells and a pet and working on Kil "I have fifty abilities you have to be aware of and watch your BigWigs bars and run around in circles to DPS adds too" Jaeden... My DoT uptime is abysmal. Never mind the lag that means I occasionally THINK I was casting a spell when the server thought otherwise, or the forty-debuff limit when every class has a handful of debuffs on the boss so my spec that entirely relies on a large number of debuffs gets fucked...
Bleh. Maybe I should try demo. If only I could remember to pull my pet back for AOE of OMG Get in the Bubble every time.

I'll have to do that, the only problem is that it's going to be hard to find low level quests without some kind of low level quest tracker. I know Blizzard was planning on implimenting one, but compiling a list of NPC's to talk to in all the low level areas to get all the quests sounds mighty time consuming.
Also I'll need to decide whether to get the title on my Rogue or Paladin...

also I don't think charvanek is an english word
that's why we call it the struggle, you're supposed to sweat

Either way, they are technically English words used in the English Language, my point stands.
True, true. Just saying.
Most of the reason English is so confusing with all our exceptions are those silly foreign words. I.e., like half the language.

Guardian spirit healing the boss for a tonne, and the dispel Glyph doing it's fair share as well.
