    Welcome to WoW 3.0 :(

    WTB healer hero class.

Maybe if Blizzard hadn't run us out of the arenas by making holy paladins the worst pvp healers, there'd be less ret pallies.

I main healed the Nexus last night as a ret pally. Worked fine.

Oh yeah I was #3 on damage #1 on healing.

    :^:

I love healing on my Disc priest. I am tempted to try a Holy build with him, but enjoying Disc a fair amount so leaving it as is. Thing is when my Death Knight reaches the 70s my priests will be getting less play time and I will have to talk my mom into healing.

Thats really a problem with the new dungeons being laughably easy. :(

A few days ago, I ran Heroic Halls of the Lightning, right after hitting 80. On one attempt, our main healer died on the second nova, on the final boss, and we still nearly beat him using ret pallies as healers.

I don't really like this. I don't feel any accomplishment from beating easy dungeons, they just become a boring badge grind.

Hate: That I can't log into WoW yet. I have absolutely NOTHING to do at work right now and I'm just waiting.. oh patiently waiting. I JUST completed the Wrathgate quest yesterday and now I've got the Battle for the Undercity to participate in. C'mon!
Happiness: This expansion has reinvigorated me in playing again. I had a feeling it would, but I've been impressed so far that I've even gone so far as to play with the in-game sound turned on just to hear the music. I love the overworld theme I'm hearing in Dragonblight.
Hope: That I'll be 80 within the next couple of days so that the post-Thanksgiving weekend can be filled with heroics and a possible 10-man Naxx run!

I don't think I've said it here, so I will now: I am really impressed by this expansion. Fun quests, interesting story, great settings.

I had completely written off Blizzard's ability to tell an interesting story after Burning Crusade, as well as its ability to create any sort of equipment that didn't look like something a clown would wear.

They brought back a ton of cool NPCs from Vanilla who have been just sitting around for 3 years doing nothing, added in-game cutscenes, and overall made a really solid expansion.

The easiest way to get elixir spec is to go spec potions. (IIRC, this just involves making 5 of 3 easily available potions). Then, you can pay some money to spec out of potions, go to the elixir guy, and spec elixirs. I forget how much gold it costs (10 or 50g I think) but its a boatload easier than trying to run BM not once, but several times to get the drops for elixir.

No, they do. Try it yourself. I had both, had 2853AP. Right-clicked Horn of Winter.

    Had 2543AP.

My usual guild instancing group has both a Shaman and a Death Knight. I'll take screenshots next time if the popular opinion is that they don't stack, because they definitely do.

This is definitely a bug then, since they've stated that both those buffs fit under the same buff category of "strength and agility".

You need to run botanica for potion spec. Transmute spec costs 5 primal mights and that's it, but that's expensive. Honestly, just wait until you are 80 and run BM by yourself. Or do potion spec and run Botanica by yourself.

Something in our run kept overwriting my wisdom blessing. I threw out about 40 greater wisdom blessings before giving up, still don't know what was over writing it.

We had a DK, two shaman, two ret pallies.

When we were doing BT post 3.0/pre WOTLK we had a enhancement shaman who didn't quite "get" that the reason he didn't have Might was due to Battle shout constantly overwriting it. After the 5th time or so in one run of him saying he wasn't ready because he didn't have might, several non-paladins jumped on him on vent and told him that he was already told he's not getting it.

Thats right, my bad. Just remembered potion spec is easier cause Bot used to get run a heck of a lot more than BM. It only needs like a drop off the second boss I think (can't check wowhead cause I'm at work) so it might be easier to bribe guildies to run a couple bosses into Bot once vs. BM (possibly a couple times). Your mileage may vary.

Happy: Hit 80 mid last week for our first naxx 10 man.

Happier: First'd the laughable OS for the server first title.

Annoyed: Got beat out of the Conq of Naxx title by a guild who tossed an extra day and 4 hours into their schedule by 5-6 minutes (lololwipingonthaddiusand4hfor hours). We pretty much one shot everything (or in the case of 4H or Thad 2 or 3) except we brought waaayyy to much melee for Kel.

The raid leaders wife kept standing to close to me causing me to get frozen... offing 3-4 melee before it wore off. I kept telling her to move but she got pretty indignant, started standing on other melee causing 4-5 to get blocked.

So we ended up killing him, but like 5 minutes after the one hour grace period on the title.

Not on normal, we did it in 10man last night with 2 pieces of the gear on the five DPS, and nothing on the healers or tank (me, or the deathknight offtank/dps). She hits very hard and there's a lot of healing to be done so the healers need their regen and I need my avoidance and mitigation.
    Fucking EPIC Hate: (Wrathgate Spoiler)
I'm doing the Undercity quest at the end of the Wrathgate line... I get to UC, and The Alliance has already cleared to the Apothecarium. I run my little ass off to get there, and as soon as I do, I disconnect. Log back in to see Lady Jaina Proudmoore yells: VARIAN... NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!, then I get frozen, and ported out. Apparently, due to horrible, awful, terrible luck, I missed the most epic quest in the entire game.

    You could have uh...*cough*

You could have dropped the quest and done it again.

I know, and I considered it for about half a second. At this point I was just pissed off. I've been having a hell of a time leveling. My crew is already running Naxx and I'm trailing way, way behind. Between House, MD, and a complete lack of drive, I'm getting frustrated with the game and with myself, and I just want to hit 80 already. I will get there on my DK in the coming weeks, so hopefully my computer can survive it the second time around. I've been getting lots of crashes since Wrath went live. It's disheartening.
I got to the end just as they killed Varimathras. I did part of the quest on beta and logged off in frustration halfway through...You get given an epic mount speed boost, but Thrall moves at a crawling pace, its ridiculous. I'm GLAD i missed the whole ordeal on live, I know what happens, I read spoilers, I don't care. The Wrathgate cinematic was the only cool part of that questline.

shit, sorry about the lack of spoilers.
