Happy!: yesss got into a Heroic train after servers went back up! We did Violet Hold, Nexus, and Gun'drak ... unfortunately, not a single upgrade, just the badges and about 20 stone shards. :[

But, hey!: I won the roll for both Frozen Orbs I actually rolled on, though, and so I'm set for crafting the two epic Leatherworking thingies!

Happy: I got my explorer title, as well as a new name.

    snip

There's actually a Dora the Explorer on Emerald Dream. It's a Night Elf DK (which makes you wonder how long he had that name reserved) that belongs to one of the Alliance-side guys who sometimes hang out in Shattered Oath's vent, so we basically try to kill him as often as possible.

Heh it's actually Dora with a stupid accent over one of the letters. The person who has Dora exists but rarely logs on.

Honestly I don't think it's funny at all, certainly not funny enough to pay gold or real money to get a name change to reference it. People are weird.

I'm glad you think I'm weird.

I'm in a ramps group full of DKs that think they don't need a healer. Whatever, I'm on my 63 rogue, not like I'm going to die. :P I just hope this lasts until the first boss and his sword drops.

DKs don't really need a healer for ramps. As long as one of them isn't taking all the hits, they can heal themselves through it pretty capably.

You do have to be a little careful on the last boss, though.

I believe it, but the highest level keeps dying (he's mostly retarded). And the dickbag who uses lol as punctuation won the /need roll for the Shadowrend Longblade. Not a whole lot point for me to finish this instance. :(

Don't feel so bad because on Windrunner they are calling it Haala 2
Even if you bombed one guard the lfg/lfm would start

Does it really flip sides every 3 days? because that would explain the rush to do all the Wrath instances the other day

    whoooooo

He's a bullshit easy boss whose loot table is a catchall mishmash of T7 and PvP pieces (not tokens, the pieces themselves). He hits about as hard as his trash and his only clever thing is eating the main tank and requiring some other tank to taunt. The whole instance from zoning in to passing out loot takes about 10 minutes.

Blah. Today's not been a good day for instances. Tried heroic Drak'tharon Keep, we wiped 5 times and didn't even get out of the first hallway. Heroic AN, got one boss down, but 5 more wipes before people leave. All Archavon attempts cancelled by Blizzard coders until further notice. At least I got an offer to go to Naxx later tonight.

No, the other side is supposed to have a chance to retake it every 3 or so hours. Except that currently it's bugged out and Horde cannot recapture it, no matter what they do.

I noticed the heroic vendors in Daralan sell some of the armor tokens is this the 10 man armor tokens or the 25 man armor tokens?

Both. You can get T7 (normal) chest and gloves from Emblems of Heroism that drop in heroics and 10-man raids, or T7 (heroic) legs and shoulders from Emblems of Valor, which you can only get by running 25-mans.

Happy: 8 heroics in a row, bunch of badges.

Exhausting: 8 heroics in a row

Slightly baffling: the cost of Frozen Orbs. Seriously, are they worth 500+ gold? Considering how easy they are to get compared to nethers back when people were first doing BC heroics, I figured they'd be way cheaper.

It's alright though, because I'm looking to sell them, not buy them. Epic flying is that much closer.

    Supply and demand.

There are more people wanting to use them for crafting than there are people getting them, and most of the people wanting to get them are doing the heroics themselves and keeping the orbs, so there arent many entering the market.

Also, there wasnt as much cool BoE Primal Nether shit at the beginning of BC.

Update: Well, my first visit to New Naxx didn't go as badly as the earlier-run heroics yesterday, though not quite as good as hoped. It was pretty much a PUG run through Spider Wing, got Anub'Rekhan down in 2 or 3 tries (and, during these fights, I discovered I was the highest DPS out of anyone there), spent some time pondering Faerlina until we discovered that killing an add (in the 10-man instance) has the same effect as MCing and casting Widow's Embrace did in the 25-man and 40-man versions. Which was convenient, as we didn't have a priest. People leave, replacements come in, and eventually we just barely down her as her last frenzy gets going.

Maexxna, two tries to get her below 30% and wipes. Mistimed the web spray. But if we get most of the same people tomorrow night, it should work out better.

Happy: Healed my first 25-man Naxx and generally kept up with our best pre-BC priest for effective healing. I know healing isn't all about meters but that's at least a start. Everyone kicked my ass on dispel/cure totals though, have to be faster on the mass dispelling of AOE frost nova on trash I guess. >.>

Hate: One-shot all of spider and plague wings, and Raz, but then kept tripping up on Gothik. We kept sending more DPS from live to dead side to try to make up for dead side getting overrun halfway through the event, but it still kept ending in dead side filled with mobs and too much AOE for just me and a paladin to heal through... Bleh.

Hate: I took up engineering from scratch becuase I wanted the motorcycle and I found out yesterday that the base amount im going to have to spend is 12,500 for unfarmable mats (The only place you can get them is from a vendor in Storm Peaks) on top of some very pricey and hard to get farmable mats.
