So yeah, the above trailer didn't inspire to much confidence about this movie for me. It didn't seem all that great, and I figured the most amusing parts where in the trailer already.

Then it started building buzz among some blogs and in aintitcoolnews. My interest raised, but I was still weary. There was a sneak screening tonight, and I figured I would check it out with some friends. Glad I did.

This movie is pretty damn funny. Marketting speach or not, but it could be considered "The new American Pie." It's not a direct rip off, but it does the whole "boy desperate to lose virginity/gets in embarassing sexual situations" though it puts it's own spin on it.

James Marsden and Seth Green almost steal the show themselves with their turn, though the guy playing Lance, the best friend, was probably the biggest surprise of the movie. And it's good seeing a R rated teen comedy that actually shows breasts and the such and taking advantage of the rating.

So yeah, I know it opens against Max Payne next week, but you all should check it out.

I didn't have hopes, but that movie does have... potential. And I stress *potential*.

I'll probably see it, because... what else?

Uh, W. and What Just Happened? come out as well.

Not to mention, Quarantine - 68%, Body of Lies - 53%, Appaloosa - 75%, Flash of Genius - 58%, and Ghost Town - 85% are all out right now.

There are a lot of good movies out at the moment.

I hear the original of Quarantine (which I've seen) is better, so I'll skip that. True, Body of Lie looked like it could be good. I wasn't aware that was out yet. The other two are... questionable.

What Just Happened? is a mystery to me, and I'm really not sure I'll like, W. But perhaps. I haven't seen a trailer yet.
