I busted my NES out and was horrified to not hear the sweet tetris theme from the NES! I'M SHOCKED.

That is all.

Speaking of Tengen Tetris, there is a guy who runs a local gamestore in my area that has a copy of it. It's the only one I've seen.

On a family vacation I once passed out while still on the level select screen in Tetris while playing it late at night with headphones.

    Fucked. Up. Dreams.

Ever since then the Tetris theme kinda weirds me out :P

    The real question however, is:

    Fever or Chill?
    The correct answer is chill.

Yeah that always really annoyed me that the Official Tetris Music was only ever on the Gameboy, until people realized that that was the best one and started putting it in other stuff.

I mean, Sugar Plum Fairy music? Really?

Man, we had some version of Tetris on our Amstrad that had the best music. I don't know if it's one that's already here, I'm at work and can't watch videos, but damn that was awesome. For years I knew that as the Tetris theme, and still think it's superior to the one that everyone else knows.

The Tengen Tetris had this nice mode where two players (or a player and the CPU) shared a wider field. It was awesome at the time. I wish they'd still include that mode in new Tetris games.

Tengen Tetris was better than Nintendo Tetris in just about every way, priming an entire nation of young geeks to learn to hate intellectual property law from a very young age.

I always hum the tetris theme while putting my groceries on the conveyer belt... and I try to get them in lines so the cashier can make them disappear... I always secretly wish that when I go to bag up my items would be perfectly stacked at the other end and the cashier would be whistling the theme for the rest of the day... I've gone wrong haven't I :S

She's working nights at her local grocery store to pay for her university course and to save enough money for a sailing boat, obviously.
