Is it something like, get killed=take drink; kill someone=take drink;reload gun=take drink; Roland loses connection=finish the drink etc... ?

Yes, ZP is semi boring. The story about Icemopper hiding under the stairs for 10 minutes (and he went afk to change laundry) for the win, should say enough about the model. That's no kind of good game, I would rather play zombie force.

The thing mod makers don't seem to realize that zombies are only fun when it's co-op. Typical "deathmatch" zombie games is just a class based FPS where each team has different classes.

L4D is a step in the right direction, even though it does have deathmatch modes.

Left 4 Dead's versus mode isn't really deathmatch though. The survivors still have to reach an objective, the zombies have to kill everyone.

Zombie Master is basically L4D with less polish and no AI director.

Even though L4D isn't out yet and because I'm drunk I'm going to say this:

Zombie Master is basically L4D in the same way that Unreal Tournament is basically TF2.

There are bad rounds of ZP. You complainers probably came around at the bad moments. But overall, the game is good because of the people. If it wasn't with PAers, I wouldn't play the game.

Also, I need to get in on some Team Zissou some time. Never played TF2 drunk. Hell, I've never been fall-on-my-face drunk at all. But part of that is because I can't stand the taste of beer. Its not that its too strong, I just don't like it. Rum or Vodka are more my style. Can any of you drunkards recommend me a drink along those lines? Or am I going to have to whip me up some early home-made egg nog?

The most important thing I find when trying to drunkenly play games, is that you need to come up with a game that keeps you drinking early and often. If you get to the point where you are taking the game so seriously that you don't pick up your drink, you're doing it wrong. Also, slam down some shots before starting, that will get you pretty damn pissed. Also, eating is cheating, and vomiting is your friend (it frees up more space for booze).

So I went on a pub for a while and put my first real effort into playing spy, went from 6 minutes played to over 2 hours. Was pretty fun to figure out, I was able to be in the top 50% for points on most games (which isn't saying much for a pub, but it means I'm not a total suckass).

One thing I'm not clear on is how long the transitions take. How many seconds before hitting cloak are you fully invisible? And for disguises are you "safe" once the little wireframe image fades? It seemed several times I gave myself away because I wasn't quite sure what the timing was.

it takes 1 second to fully cloak, and 3 seconds to uncloak, you can tell by your image, fading in/out. and obviously, once you are invis, if you bump into the opposite team, you will be pseudo visable for 1 second, at which point i suggest uncloaking, start shooting, and running. unless you're playing on a pub, noobs will not have any idea what's going on.

That 3 seconds feels like an eternity. I've already missed a dozen clean kills because I was stuck semi-invisible while dudes had their back turned, unable to make any attacks.

I do love the cloak though. One time I got behind a team on goldrush, 5 people were pushing the cart and I chain backstabbed every single one of them. Never work on a PA server but it's fun on pubs. PAers are too aware. :( Get one backstab in and suddenly the entire team is pyros spraying flames into corners.
