FYI I think most 3rd party exclusvie shit is stupid unless there is something about the game that makes it especially targeted at a specific platform. However the thing that really pisses me off is exclusive DLC which is just fucking retarted. The game has already been ported over, why deny the add on content? I'm just glad I don't usually go for DLC except for music games.

I would buy MGS4 again for the Xbox, even if there where no extras (I own the PS3 version and loved it). Don't know why, but I would pay for £40 play it through again on the Xbox.
I played MGS the original way back on PS1 and i remember hating it passionately, so ive never been into the MGS series at all since then. On another note i did absolutely LOVE Kojima's Zone of The Enders on the PS2, i have both games and loved them both, totally under appreciated, especially the second installment.
I think this is somewhat different, for a long time now, we all been told MGS4 would be impossible to put on the 360 due to size constraints. I think we all knew that Bioshock could be on PS3 without too much trouble.
I bought one compilation of some MGS. Maybe 3? I think I got to a point where some bee master guy was attacking me and spouting the stupidest dialogue I've ever heard in my life. I turned it off and had/have absolutely no desire for MGS4.
I realize that the "over the topness" is part of it, but I don't think I have whatever fun gene that is that make people love this game.
Also it seems to me that a game like LBP would be harder to put on the box than MGS4.

You know, forge is probably why I'm not spending hundreds of dollars on LBP and a PS3 right now. I love forge. It's awesome, and I like loading up maps people have made and looking around them.

Except what I make is rubbish.
Same thing with Garry's Mod. Awesome game, lot's of room for creativity and all that.
I just suck at it. Figured it'd be the same with LBP, decided to save myself some money.
Actually MGS1 was really good without being too over the top. You should look into that one Peeking.

And in Metal Gear's defense, I'm very very picky about games these days since I don't have a lot of time. The last one I played through was Bioshock. Mario Galaxy was also impressive, but I didn't finish it.
I've never been one to discount MGS4 on 360 but this hardly seems like anything remotely coming close to proof of it. On one hand it makes sense, but on the other hand if it does materialize it is going to be another greatest hits style director's cut version released side by side the PS3 version again.
