got mixed reviews from google so I came here to see how well it performed on gaming systems.
s-video separates color Chrominance from color Luminance, while composite runs them on a single wire.... so s-video tends to provide better color reproduction, and picture sharpness
but if you have a newer TV that has component input, then definitely upgrade to component cables for your PS2... better picture still
a PS3 is really designed as an HD console... so it'll look downright crappy on a composite/s-video input... you may even not be able to read some of the smaller text in games... this console really needs component or HDMI
