Which is better to use for a ps2/ps3?

*Note: Composite is the yellow/red/white cable.

    it should be S-Video.

    s-video > composite

googling your topic title will tell you why on the first page.

    ty for the advice.

got mixed reviews from google so I came here to see how well it performed on gaming systems.

s-video separates color Chrominance from color Luminance, while composite runs them on a single wire.... so s-video tends to provide better color reproduction, and picture sharpness

but if you have a newer TV that has component input, then definitely upgrade to component cables for your PS2... better picture still

a PS3 is really designed as an HD console... so it'll look downright crappy on a composite/s-video input... you may even not be able to read some of the smaller text in games... this console really needs component or HDMI
