So I know I'm not the only one here in bands. Tonkka is in a rockin' metal band. Makershot is in a cool post-punk (ish?) band. Captain K is in a cool band. Let us speak about those experiences here, in this venue. Also, fuck it, what bands do you like? Do you play an instrument but you're too much of a pussy to find a band? Why might that be, pussy?
I, for one, am in two bands that play pretty regularly around Seattle here. Many of you who came to town for Pax got to see one of them, Masters, Mates and Pilots, live and in color. The other band, I personally think is better musically, but less catchy in a popular music sense. That band is called Ionesco and recently we played a show at a local venue called The High Dive and some clandestine video-recorder captured a couple of moving pictures of two of our songs:

Word. Warbringer is a band from my town that got signed to Century Media and just got back from a tour that went all the way to Ukraine. They offered a producer buddy of mine a shot at producing their next record but he has to bring them a demo of stuff he's produced first and he's not getting off his ass and writing music for us D;

we're all pretty frustrated with the scene here (if it ain't dancepunk you don't get shit)
and all the metal bands mostly hate each other
and yeah, Warbringer is the shit. I got to meet most of the band. Amazing show. Best part: right after the set, when the curtains closed before Finntroll got on, John (the singer) got on the mic and shouted "SMOKE! WEED! EVERY! DAY!" and then started playing bob marley on the PA. gonna see them in LA again this Saturday and I get to see mother fuckin' Horna on halloween 8-)
i got the annual GWAR and then DragonForce/Turisas/Powerglove and that's it till probably next summer
the band was Sacred Storm. the recordings are ehh, but the live sound is pretty good and they were really cool people

Also, I am in a band. We just opened for a band called Fake Problems who has toured with Against Me and other big awesome acts. We are not a punk band. We are called Blaze N' Murder. We are not a metal band.
