I like to think that Hotlead appreciated mine. Someone thought Angel of Bacon did it, which I took as a high compliment (and he may have taken as an insult, ahaha).

I skipped out on this last year and was left feeling remarkably excluded, so I'm in. Just one more excuse for you to flood my inbox with DRAW
I think most people have a good idea of what kind of things Lexxies like... cute things, bright cheerful colors, videogames (WoW--horde ftw!, classic Nintendo stuff), D&D, zombies, blahblahblah... B:
edit : : whoa, MD... why are we not best friends?!
It seems some people have fears of signing up due to the chance of being burned. Well, I'd like to remedy that.
I'm asking for volunteers to be SUPER SECRET SANTAS.
What that means is that if come Christmas, someone who submitted a piece for someone else, but did not get one for themself (barring any unforseen legitimate excuses), you will draw a piece for them. I'll put together a list of people who wish to do this, then assign them names of people who were burned post-Christmas.
To sign up, shoot me an e-mail at angelarms@gmail.com with the subject line "SUPER Secret Santa-[your forum name]". I will not be posting the list of people, I won't even put the numbers of people who signed up in this thread. Don't say that you want to do it in this thread or mention to anyone that you signed up to be a SUPER Secret Santa. This is entirely a volunteer, good-of-your-heart, Christmas Spirit exercise. You will, however, have the knowledge that you are indeed, a rad dude(or dudette).
No-one gives a flying fuck about your denomination.
Or maybe I was just responding to a question two people asked.
Even in a topic about christmas spirit (which, yeah, I understand regardless), you can't be civil?

I sign up for this also... On the primary condition that my drawing for them will be as NSFW as I please.
Also that I can sign up for it in this thread because I am faaaar too lazy to simply send you an e-mail... And yet can easily do a second secret sanata submission.
In fact, I will draw every single person who doesn't recieve a submission something...

Who the #@£! is Alyce ^^'? That's donkey from Retarded Animal Babies.
Also something I like, next to MonthyPython, H.P.Lovecraft, WW2-games, Pratchett's Discworld, Animes (GTO, AzumangaDaioh, CowboyBebop, everything from Ghibli and Satoshi Kon)... I better stop that as long as it's possible.

alyceinWonderland used to post her art here for ages. But she left when lots of the regulars did. Her avatar used to be a donkey much like that one :P
My likes are ...erm ... Bolt City or really anything Kazu Kibuishi does (especially daisy kutter), boating/sailing, cute bunnies, discworld, Reno 911!, electronica / dance music, button moon and other 80s kids cartoons, pirates, traditional irish folk music (especially fiddle music) ... i'll stop now, this could go on forever!

so we have until november to sign up, but how long do we have to work on these? Up to christmas?
I will be posting the gifts Christmas morning (or as close as I can get with the time zone differance). So I will need them before then. I'll probably put a due date around the 20th or so, just to be sure they're in on time.
-fan art of my comics and ideas and the guys I came up with (Kilgore & Crew, Spex, the stuff in my doodle thread)
-comics comics comics comics comics

-steampunk
-music, but especially rock music and various metal bands. Good ones. Like Judas Priest and old Metallica.
Yeah guys, I'm still here. Just not quite as often as I was. I'm not going to be participating in this though. I really don't have time to draw something up that's not going to go in my portfolio.
I was wondering if some kind of audio could be a secret-santa-gift, too? It's still art, isn't it? Not that I am into audio but I could imagine some people here are.
hm, i don't know how i would feel if i drew a pretty picture that took me an hour to do and then got a quick snapshot in return. (; maybe the c can keep track of who's willing to receive a photo and who isn't? so photographers can be a part and everyone can be happy? it is christmas, after all.

That's interesting also. Because in addition to drawing, I also need to write songsies. >.>

I'm sick of people commenting on 'quick snapshots.'
If I do this, I'm going to do a real photo, something that takes me a long time to think of, work with, and post-process. It's not any less worthwhile than someone picking up a pencil and sketching me something.
EDIT: To clarify, all that takes MUCH longer than an hour.

Agreed. Im not just going to find something pretty and follow the rule of thirds. I seriously want to put time into it for whoever is on the recieving end.
This is no snapshotting, not that I do that anyway (with exception to when I'm flying).

In fact, if someone submits something really poor below their actual ability I'll draw -them- something.
