I already made the trip once this month, it cost me $100 in gas and 1000 miles on my car round trip. I don't think I can afford another one this year.
Plus there was copious amounts of alcohol.....

Oh man now I'm excited! GggguuuuuuHHHHHH!!!!
Grant Kirkhope has been confirmed as a magfest guest. He's the guy who did the soundtracks to the n64 games goldeneye, perfect dark, and banjo-kazooie.
Wow, that's awesome. I wish I could go.
A buddy I went to school with lives just 4 miles away so I could stay with him. But how much fun and shennanigans went on in the hotel in the late late hours?
Ehh I guess saving the $400 will probably the better route.
Well either way, time off has been set and money has been set aside. Color me a different shade of excited now.
Pre-registration will continue up until a few days before christmas. If you know you're going, pre-reg now to save 5 bucks. http://courtwright.org/magfest/preregistration/
Would anyone be interested in scheduling a PA meetup?
And I'm apparently the only other guy in the thread who has been interested....
