Hi All,
I have a question...
How are those painterly textures accomplished in the shading of some of these digital paintings? Do they come from photo references in which there are messy textures, which then have their values and fills adjusted, then set on multiply or different transparencies?
Or are they simply achieved from common photoshop plug-ins?
For examples of what I mean, I reference the backgrounds of Mike's latest strips, and his new PoP comics.
