So out of curiosity, is there anything stopping people from packaging up the GoW/Nariko stuff in their levels so anyone could collect them?

Yea. Content can be locked so you can use it but can't share it. My guess is those costumes are indeed locked.

I wouldn't worry much though, there are plenty of other costumes, plus you can apply stickers and accessories to Sackboy to make your own costumes.

Right now my sackboy is a Cyber Ninja!

Edit: crap, that was supposed to be an edit, not a double post. blah.
How would you manage that? Just with PSEye taken pictures? They don't come off as blurry/grainy at all?

Also, what's the best resource right now for level building information? That chart from the previous page with shooter damage information was really interesting. Did that come from a specific site?
Yeah I'd imagine the Eye Toy would be generally a pretty poor way of transferring content over. Luckily there's plenty of content built in to do all sorts of great costumes for the creatively inclined. As for building levels, I haven't been able to find much yet in the way of guidance beyond the in-game tutorials. Mostly just have to try stuff out and see what works, figuring it out as you go along.

BTW, which shooter damage information chart? Or were you talking about the health system I made?

I'm fairly sure he just took the plain color stickers
The ones you get from the create tutorials.
(maybe spoiler.) and place them on your character in such a way as to paint the costume.

If you look on the LBP news site, it says they are working on some goodies, INCLUDING the spacesuit, to be up on the PSN store soon:

And with the North American release here and Europe & Japan right around the corner, stay tuned for more announcements about other DLC goodness in the queue (including the Spacesuit) for our fans around the world.

Really like the GOW costumes - just wish it was easier to see what stickers are from the download pack. They should have put those in a separate category.

It's also causing the on-disc levels to load slowly if you are connected to the servers. Now no cool levels will show up at all for me.

I think they got the servers working again, finally able to play the GOW level... which one is the real one though? There are two - one by an Angel person and another by the guy who made World of Color.

edit: Seems like someone made a copy of the original level... I wonder how they did that? Anyhow, anyone up for some multi?

I forget who made the one I played but it was pretty great.

The mirror's edge one was fantastic.

edit: It was the one by the mirror's edge person and holy crap Comcast is really terrible. my connection keeps getting dropped. This is rather annoying.

I couldn't finish the Mirror's edge one because the winch at the end didn't work correctly and I wasn't about to restart the entire level for that. Pretty well done though and would be fantastic if that little kink was fixed.

Or you could just go into LBP, press the D-Pad right three times then start blustering and yelling at your sackboy. Same experience.

any bluetooth headset should work, provided it works with a sufficient range and supports the latest version of bluetooth.
Turn on your Playstation 3, and from the main menu go to Settings - Accessory Settings - Register Bluetooth Device

You will be presented with two options:

    Register BD Remote Control
    Register Headset/Microphone/Headphones

Select Register Headset... and put your Bluetooth headset into pairing mode. On your PS3 select Start Scanning

Select your device and enter your pairing code. In most cases for audio devices the default pairing code is "0000"

Now on your PS3, go to Audio Device Settings and change your "Input Device" and "Output Device" to your Bluetooth headset name. Try speaking and watch your "Mic Level" move!

Nah, I got one when I first pre-oredered it and the second when I picked up the game. The guy knew that he had already given me one but gave me another for no reason.

    Sevorak got the extra code.

Once you get your touch for handling extremely volatile explosives it gets a bit easier

edit: they don't die, they ace it and get the skeleton costume.

So are the servers still acting funny for everyone else?
