so the lower numbers presumably mean it ranked higher since that's typically how rank is expressed
so that would mean CAD is currently ranked higher than PA?
I don't like those graphs
that's what it looks like it says
it's kind of ambiguous to me though
is it overall rank against all websites? or a specific subset of sites?
CAD on average has had more pageviews this year than Penny-Arcade. That is what the traffic data says. The two graphs are a little confusing because they dont operate to the same scale. At the moment CAD is higher than PA.
Ironically, around e3 when PA spiked CAD went down a lot.

You're going off Alexa graphs though. Graphs whos main source of information is people that download and use the Alexa toolbar.
It's not representive of general traffic at all because there's only a small minority of internet users that know about Alexa, and an even smaller number that would actually use the toolbar.
To give you an idea of how skewed Alexa results can be -- my old company had a policy that every computer would have the Alexa tookbar installed. Because the company was entirely web-based and held in a subdomain of our main website Alexa would rank thousands of page views a day from our website -- 99% of which was just us in the web development team testing out builds and coding. I disabled the toolbar for a week and we dropped down the rankings significantly.

do you also have a silk screen button up shirt with a huge samurai on it?
I have one sporting Optimus Prime. I also never wear it except as part of a halloween costume or (once) after losing a bet.
buuuuullshit, you thought that shirt was awesome so you bought it then you were ridiculed for wearing it so now you keep it in the back of your closet but occasionally you catch a glimpse of it while you rifle through your hot topic phrase shirts trying to find something topical in relation to your mood upon waking up and you think back to those times when you used to not even care what people thought and you'd just wear whatever the fuck you wanted to wear but not anymore because now that shit comes with consequences and you intend on keeping these friends you have finally managed to secure in your hum drum life.

even megatokyo is on that graph
Doesn't make them not fun, just inaccurate.
oh my christ
First off, pvp and megatokyo have the comic on the front page, whereas you have to click through on PA and I believe CAD.
On top of that, PVP's forum is on the halfpixel domain, so it's not counting that at all.
Statistics are fun.
whoa hey now
don't group what i wear in with the megatokyo crowd
or DBZ
edit: fuck you nas. I'll go with Ninja Scroll instead

Against a backdrop of wolves howling in the woods.
I would wear the fuck out of that shirt.
Bruce Campbell is riding one of the wolves.
