The majority of these songs are fun to sing. My sister went back and re-did the solo for "I Wanna Be Your Man" over and over until she got into 95%+ territory. That was one of the surprises on our sightreads.

Oh man, no kidding. I failed out of it half out of the difficulty and half out sheer surprise.
Also the song I'm Gone, I'm Going is so simply fun and awesome.

Also, yeah I was playing through this as one setlist and by the time I got up to 14 or so I quit because I was sick of the constant alt strumming boring songs.
Prequel was good, Give it to Me, and thats about all that stood out on guitar.
Are you asking if you can delete them individually? No you cannot.

You'll have to contact Customer Support about it to get them to send you a new code. Are you sure you selected 'PS3' when you registered the code?

Absolutely positive, I triple-checked all my info because I was afraid of something like this happening.
I can say I'm not looking forward to doing the Infinite '00s challenge. I'm sitting at 93 songs right now. Sure I can save and return, but then I only get money credit for the songs I complete in the session that I finish the challenge. (As in: If I save with 20 songs left and then finish them later, I'll only get money for those last 20 songs. At least that's what has happened before).
I think I'm just going to do about a third, take a break, a second third, another break, and then the final third. And it'll all be on Hard difficulty unless I can finally manage to beat Visions on Expert. It's like another damned Endless Setlist.
All songs with a release date from this current decade. In my list there are 93 (and I'm sure some of them were just downloaded today...)
EDIT:
I think I've seen some folks complain that they have more than the cutoff amount (I'm guessing 100 max.) and they can't complete it. So I think it's the one challenge with the most songs in it.

Infinite (Decade or Genre) playlists in the challenge section take all the songs you've got and use their metadata (Year and Genre) and sort them all into one huge setlist based on those criteria.
For instance, the Infinite 00's is every song in the game or on your hard drive released on or past January 1st, 2000. My Infinite 00's was maxed out at 100 when I first bought the game, and I've since purchased multiple 00's songs.
I played a few of the harder ones on guitar just now. There seem to be a lot of Less Talk More Rokk-esque Ostinatos thrown around, like in Prequel to the Sequel, I Wanna Be Your Man, and Like a Fool.
It's pretty sweet.

One thing that bugged me - in Burn You, the guitar starts out playing this strange little riff, and then the rest of the music kicks in and you just sit there for a bit.
I don't mind that so much, but then the part you just played at the beginning starts up again and you just sit there twiddling your thumbs.
Other than that the song is okay, and that leaves me with enjoying 18 out of the 20 free songs - with a decent amount just outright surprising me with how much fun they were.
Tried going through their support site, which apparently requires an EA account. Try to create one, though apparently one with my e-mail has been made. Don't remember ever doing that, but whatever. Put in all three of the various user names I use for different sites. None worked.
Ask them to send my screen name to my e-mail. According to ea.com, it's "Successfully Sent!" but my e-mail folders declare otherwise. It's been over an hour now. Tried several times. Don't think it's coming.
Keep your 20 fucking songs, you bastards. I hope your financial downward spiral continues.

You've never had to RMA anything?
You were able to link your Rock Band info to your RockBand.com profile without an EA profile?

No and yes.
Never RMA'd. Don't need an EA account for RockBand.com.

Right, I was mistaken in thinking that an EA account was needed for linking to your game, but it's the Windows ID for Live.
Also, my EA account's user name when I made one was just set to my e-mail address itself.
All I'm really getting at here is that you've tried one avenue and have written off the songs and the company. Yeah it sounds like a shitty deal but the rockband.com support forums could maybe be of some assistance, and you haven't even mentioned trying that.
Apparently people aren't enjoying "Prequel to the Sequel's" cut and began unleashing rage on Harmonix.
Harmonix gave out a statement that pretty much said that it wasn't their fault and they work with what the record labels give them as Master Tracks.
I decided to see what the band "Between the Buried and Me" had to think about their song being cut. They had this to say on their Myspace page:
Rock Band 2 Concerns
We are aware of the song being cut short... its a bummer. We had no control over it. I guess mainstream companies aren't into 8 minute songs. We figured 5 minutes is better than nothing. Just wanted all of you to know that it wasn't our decision.
I don't know, this comment just comes off as obnoxious. They seem to be shifting blame to Harmonix without giving any valid explanations. Granted, it's probably because they have no idea how the entire Guitar Hero/Rock Band master track setup works but still. They lose some respect points for being "lol we are over mainstream media! Now buy our Vinyl CDs! woo".
The comments on the blog post aren't that inspiring either:

I like the contrast between the bitching that the songs are all unknown bands, and then the bitching that we couldn't download them the day they were "promised".

The official forum posters are downloading them, but they have giant angry frowns on their faces the entire time.
I downloaded the song pack last night but didn't have a chance to play them yet. Looking forward to trying on drums.

I did, actually. But the support forums are barren, I haven't gotten a response yet and I don't really expect to.
I suppose I shouldn't be too bummed, the only song I really cared about was Sons and Daughters...by the way, how is that one?

This is why I hate Visions. I needed cash, so I played 30 songs in a row on that list. I got to Visions and played it for the first time. After much frustration and anger, I dropped down to medium and beat it. It was the second to last song left, so I only got something like $240.
its nice to see X/X completed when you look at your challenges page.
I'm really glad I'm not remotely "obsessive".
Also: I wasn't paying the greatest attention to lyrics as I played last night, but it seemed that one song slipped "shit" through the censor and "sluts" definitely seemed like a hot topic. Very classy.

Wait, this means that any Rock band email I may have gotten, I never actually got. Maaaaan.
THEY SENT ME A FUCKING 360 CODE
I HAVE A PS3, DIPSHITS.

Sometimes they get really hard to defend.
I registered a PS3 version. What the fuck am I supposed to do with a 360 code, stare at it?
But the song was done.

Good luck.
Get it On is also fun, and so is that other song that I forgot the name of already. I only played like...7 or 8 songs in the pack so far though.

Though, Magnetic Baby's solo has a severe case of "split personality". Seriously, make up your damn mind.

Quite possibly the best song ever committed to the music rhythm format. I cannot stop playing it. It is joy incarnate.
