Y'know when you're a kid, and you have that dream where your parents give you all the awesome toys you've been wishing for? And when you wake up, you're all excited to play with your new mountain of toys - there's this wonderful moment before you realize 'oh, damn - it was just a dream.'

Having LBP is like that moment. But it ain't a dream. It's real.

Man. There are a LOT of games that aren't Fallout 3 on that list. Gotta feel a little sorry for them.

Edit: Whoops, I don't mean to diss LBP, I thought it had came out last week.

    I know nothing about FO3.

    I will wait on reviews.

As for the rest, psyched about GHWT's guitar, and possibly the game as well.

I have GHWT, and I think it's great. Especially the drumset and new guitar. The new guitar is the best fake guitar I've ever used. The drumset is freakin' awesome as well.

Oh trust me, I know about the awesome guitar. I handled it, and I saw it was good.

The drumset I saw was broken, and I'm hearing terribly conflicting things about them.

I dunno what the conflict is all about, except for two things. One, the batteries that came with the things are apparently crap, so using good new batteries works better. Secondly, the demo units either probably were not hooked up well or used the funky batteries or both.

I have no idea. I have the Wii version and it communicates via the wii remotes anyway, so I have no issues, and the drumset itself is perfectly sensitive and the cymbals and drums work great.

Special mention of My Sims Kingdom really needs to be made in the thread title or in the OP. The original My Sims was basically a vastly improved version of Animal Crossing. My wife & daughter both loved the game to death and they weren't the only ones since the game sold over a million copies. My wife has actually been counting down the days until My Sims Kindom's release and that's something she never does.

There are times when you can see that some game publishers have just way too much money... I think it will sale pretty well again.

I can't imagine any of those 4 taking less than a million to do that commercial. Well maybe Tony Hawk but that could be contractual.

    Fallout 3. That is all.

But since I'm literally 50% through with Far Cry 2, the lunchbox may have to sit unopened until I settle things with The Jackal.

Who am I kidding? I'll open it so I can use it to bring lunch to work tomorrow.

What? It was an awesome Lego-style furniture and house builder, which oozed charm from every pore, but it was no Animal Crossing by a loooooong way.

    At least in my opinion.

WTF, I was just about to post that there should be a law against any game not a JA sequel having Jagged in the title seeing that lots of people could die of heartache when their hopes are dashed.

I googled & found a demo. Waiting on the download now. I'm not sure I wanna try it though. You see, I tried the Shining sequels and I know where this leads if it's not done right...

I'm buying Fallout 3 this week, and I already picked up LBP. I'm still behind on last week's games, and I'm once again pretending that the rest of the titles this week don't yet exist.

This has been a fantastic October.

I'm really curious about GHWT as I'm predominantly a Rock Band player these days, but it'll have to wait till I can afford the bundle with those awesome new drums.

This has been out in Germany since March. I haven't played it, but everybody seems to hate it because it's a bugfest that doesn't get any patches and the dev didn't seem to get what made JA2 such a great game.

Reviewers gave it 50s-60s irc. Just a heads-up.

I'm just going by my wife & daughter's opinion since I'm not a fan of the genre. They used to be big fans of Animal Crossing until they played My Sims. Now, they're both dying for the new My Sims game to be released and have absolutely no interest in the upcoming Wii Animal Crossing.

I'm downloading it too. Hopefully it will work; I tried the Jazz: Hired Guns demo, which may more may not be this game's old name, and it never functioned.

Damn, nothing exciting on the DS for me this time around.

Though I've just started playing puzzlequest. Unfortunately, it's difficult for me to just save & stop to play it since I can't just quick-save a match. The last DS game I completed was Time Hollow which let me save nearly anytime/anywhere. Really convenient for my train rides at least.

I mean, that's why I haven't really finished FFIV for my DS. It's so involving and I can't get into it just on my commute. :(

Though, hoorah for Fallout 3 and OTRSPOD Episode 2! Which one to get??

I'm trying to enjoy Far Cry 2, but...I just can't get into it. The dialogue between the characters is insteresting, but god, everything feels so far apart. And the vehicles are kind of jerky. Luckily, changing the FOV has fixed my nausea while playing it.

Someone mentioned to google a FOV hack, many thanks to them. I think it was sirot.

But man, I just wanna play FO3 I think.
